Tough cross, but that ball goes in if he aims it somewhere else.

Always surprised at how few teams have great goalkeepers. Just find a 6'6 kid somewhere, and put him between the pipes every day of his life.

this was a good game. Hopefully the next two are just as good. Vamos Espana.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

That last goal was horrible for the keeper, the ball changed direction and bounced off the floor just before him.

Not the best performance for Oranje but we'll take it. Anything to avoid Brazil in the round of 16.

Re: 2014 FIFA World Cup: Group B (ESP/NED/CHI/AUS)
Luckiest win ever. This is the defense I expected coming in to the WC. Absolutely terrible. So inconsistant.
Depay is going to be such a player in the future. He's been great for PSV all season and is a really hard worker. Love him.
6 points from 2 games, +5 goal difference. Ill take it, but we need to play better.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

So Spain realistically needs 3 goals to stay alive?

Re: 2014 FIFA World Cup: Group B (ESP/NED/CHI/AUS)
Game should be good. Spain HAS to win. Interested to see what they're capable of now, the Chilean backline is perhaps even more vurnerable than the Dutch one. Should be very exciting.

Think the US east coast broadcast is really delayed if you posted that as it happened
