Pretty much the best Spurs team IMO. It had a very good balance of offense AND defense with every key player on the roster being able to contribute mightily.

Perfect example of team basketball that earns their dynasty status.

Its hard to compare because the game is totally different now and the rules are totally different now. If the 89 Pistons played the 2014 Spurs it would depend on which era's set of rules applied.

Using 1989's rule set, the Bad Boy Pistons destroy the Spurs.
Using the 2014 rule set, The Pistons entire team is fouled out by half time.
