Ok, that was a joke . Now what? He was IMO, the only sure thing barring injury. Everyone else has question marks.

Unless I'm mistaken, the only question marks on Wiggins were that he lacked "hunger" and that his shot needed improvement.

I'm just kind of taking shot improvement on faith, but the "hunger" thing never bothered me considering Kyrie was on the roster.

So if this Embiid thing really is a bad sign, I'm more than happy for the Cavs to take Wiggins.

Are you insinuating that Kyrie has the hunger that Wiggins supposedly lacks?
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Other problems with Wiggins game, he can't go to his left, can't pass, and has an average handle. I would still take him at this point though. At least he can step in, defend the 3, and get 10 ppg on fast breaks.

So he is basically a rich man's Alonzo Gee right out of the gate.

He's a 100 times more athletic than Gee and will actually be a good defender. His floor is MKG. Some people see his ceiling as a franchise player.

I wish I liked Parker more. I really do. But tweener forwards who can't defend scare me.

On a side note, does anyone know how Gee got a reputation as good defender?

Yeah Kyrie is very questionable in that area.

I took hunger to be the ability to take over games as they are winding down. I really don't think Kyrie got the name "Mr. Fourth Quarter" arbitrarily.

I feel for you Cavs fans, even with getting the #1 pick 2 years in a row, you end up with the player that should be #1 injured. Last year you passed on Noel and got Bennet. This year it looks like you will pass on Embiid unless you trade the pick. I know Cleveland is in a rough spot but if I was management I would not pass on him. But as a 76ers fan I hope you do. But because you picked Bennet there is a mandate to win now. You can't basically trot out the same team again and tell your fans everything will be OK as soon as Ebmiid is well And neither can the Bucks. It's a tough spot.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

he has KD's personality, not sure what's wrong with that.

We have a guy with hunger on our team his name is Dion Waiters, that's our Westbrook.

Kyrie is our Harden.

Wiggins was the right pick all along anyways.

Or maybe a more team-oriented Rudy Gay.
