He'll be good, but he won't be no D'lo Brown.

I'm not really a fan of Wiggins, but saying he doesn't have the athleticism? His athleticism is one of the main reasons for him being picked so high.

Already a better defensive player than a lot of the guys mentioned here. Hard to call, but I think he is being underrated.

I believe that he meant Wiggins doesn't have the offensive skillset and his athleticism alone is not enough to get by.

Worst is Chandler Parsons without a shot.

Vince Carter was one of the most offensively skilled players weve seen come out in the past 20 or so years. He was more then just an elite athlete

And yet how did he look during/after his freshman year?

Pretty damn unimpressive. (Putting up 8/4/1)

You know that development is a thing right?

He can be as good as he wants to be. Just depends how much work he is willing to put in.

I think somebody on the Wiz board said it best, a SF version of John Wall (sans some of the playmaking). I mean that in his shot will be off for the first 2 seasons probably but he'll find ways to be an impact player. He has a chance to be a solid 2nd option borderline 1st option if he really puts in the work (especially beyond the arc). Rudy Gay with a jumper might be reasonable.

I still think he's going to end up being an elite player in the NBA. He had a very good freshman season and his game is tailor made for the NBA. He reminds me offensively a bit as Gerald Green coming into the draft. Weak jumpshot and insane athleticism. But Wiggins was an elite defender in the NCAA and seems to work harder and have a higher bball IQ.

Probably already been mentioned, but Paul George.

you are doing Marion a disservice. If Wiggins is ever as good as Marion as Marion was in his prime he will have been a great pick. Shawn Marion in my opinion is one of the most underrated players in our current era, if not ever.

going to be absolute garbage and trash. I wouldn't take him if there was a 3rd round.

Now that James Michael McAdo?

now theres a player worthy of taking number 1.

he just looks like a DeRozan clone honestly ... he has an average dribble although his quickness and first step may make up for that a bit ... but then once he gets to the bucket he's not a good finisher ... he just is a guy that i cant see superstar potential in ...
