I can never tell if people are for realz when they say stuff like that. I'm going to assume you're joking and lolz with you and not at you.

I just cracked up picturing you at your keyboard writing 5 different responses only to stop and shake your head after each one before erasing it and starting over.

There isn't anything I hate more than inaccurate comparisons based solely on skin color and the Reddick one is a great example.

Yeah, I knew you had a good head on your shoulders. :)

Except Redick and Stauskas actually are pretty damn similar. Stauskas is just a better athlete. Both deadly catch and shoot guys.

BTW, saying Exum and MCW are the same players is worse than fingering, fisting, or even tonguing a dog's butthole.

Stauskas plays a different position, is two inches taller, has four more inches in his wingspan, and is significantly more athletic.

I agree that they are both great shooters but there are plenty of basketball players of various ethnicities who can also shoot while at the same time actually resembling Nick Stauskas. My comparison is Rip Hamilton.

Prefer Wiggins, but with how Parker measured out and the NBA trending towards more small ball, i'm less concerned than i initially was about him being a clear tweener. So while he was my 4th choice among Embiid, Wiggins, Exum, and Parker, i'm warming up to not being annoyed if he ends up being the pick.

Big picture, year ago Kohl still owned the team. We came off a miserable offseason where Hammond/Kohl foolishly signed a bunch of overpaid vets, trying yet again to land an 8th seed. Things looked so bleak on a number of levels.

Fast forward to now. Kohl is gone and replaced by a pair of super rich investment bankers. I feel pretty confident an arena deal will eventually get done. Giannis looked so promising. The team was miserable instead of fighting for an 8th seed. We'll very likely get either of Wiggins/Parker. Maybe a trade ends up landing another first round pick, possibly one in the lottery. Even if that doesn't happen, we still have two high 2nd round picks in a deep draft.

So i won't fret to much if my first choice isn't the guy we end up with given both have plenty of upside. If they could just get rid of Drew, the remake of the Bucks from where the franchise stood a year ago would be so fabulous overall.

For the first time in ages, i have hope as a Bucks fans that things actually could be turning around significantly.

I always want to type Redick but in my head I sound it out as "Re-Dick" and then I end up throwing in the extra D.

Very good news. Drops another player to us at 31, or if we move up some.

Different position? How so?

2" taller/4" wingspan? OK. I think they're pretty damn similar, except for the hops, which I pointed out in my frist post. I don't really see Hamilton, because I think Stauskas is a better shooter than Rip ever was.

Just changed my mind 17 times while reading this thread.

But I'll stick with Parker, mostly because when he does something cool I will get to call him Parkour.

If Embiid is available at 7 and the LAL are still win now, you don't hesitate to do Sanders/Knight for 7 plus filler. In 6 mo, your line up could be:

Wolters/31
Wiggins/36
Giannis/Middleton
Ersan/Henson
Embiid/Zaza

And that team would still get you a top 5 in next year's draft.

For those who love Stauskas:

Just remember, you can get a slightly less athletic but even longer and just as deadly as a shooter version of him at 31 in Bogdan Bogdanovic.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
