Kyrie
Jazz fan and I come in peace, would the Cavs think about Burke, Favors, 23, and GSW 17 1ST for Kyrie and bad contract? Is it enough for yall or a bit more?

The value isn't bad, but the direction is... Cavs are starting year 5 of a rebuild and are looking for short-term rather than a long-term ROI cycle.
Kyrie + future asset for Favors and #5 is a deal.

That's a tough swallow but we really need a defensive PF, was hoping to draft Gordon but I think the Jazz would do Favors and 5 it, we could still find a way to get Gordon.

Re: Kyrie
I'm open to trading Kryie but I'd rather do the No. 5 and Favors pick for No. 1 and move Kyrie in a separate deal.

Really? That's surprising, I would think keeping the 1 and trading for Favors and 5 would still be attractive.

Re: Kyrie
I dont think that Favors and the 5th pick has ever never been rated as that attractive to most Cav fans. The Cavs have to plan for there own future without Lebron dreams. Favors isnt that big of an upgrade over TT... all he really does better is that he blocks more shots.
Geting back to the OP's trade for Kryie. Qantity does not make up for quality (Kyrie) which makes the decision of rejecting this trade pretty easy. Just like the Wizards did with Walls, the Cavs will sign Kyrie to a max contract.

If Exum is available at 4, then that trade doesn't happen.
At 4 you can take Embiid. At 1 you can take Wiggins/Parker/Exum. At 12 you can grab Elfrid Payton.

I have been thinking along these lines for a while now, but I don't think that would be enough for the Cavs mgt. I would love to pry AA away from you guys in something based around that, but I am sure I am in the minority on that.

I think getting AA would be doable if you gave up #33. Bulls, Wolves and Hornets have been linked to AA in rumors if you wished to flip him there. AA could probably get you #16 and recoup a second rounder from the Bulls.
Getting 2 of the top 4, plus 12, 16 and a second sounds like it would give your team a chance to start over and rebuild the right way. Plus, no more worry about Kyrie resigning or not... and you keep you cap space to add on a different top FA to add to your young core.

I would be ok with adding 33 for AA, but I would want to keep him. If the team is in win now like they say, he would be a big help. Many here are against Dion at PG, but the team looked better with him there last year, albeit in a small sample size.
I think this would allow Wiggins at #1 which is who I want them to take, and then possibly swing for the fences with Embiid if their doctors were confident enough in his long term health. Looking ahead to 12, maybe a player like Capella who could be stashed for a year or two.
Mostly, I just don't get the feeling that Kyrie wants to be here, and even if he says he does, watching him laughing after getting beat by Boston late last season, while they were trotting out a good D-league lineup really got under my skin.

Tobias Harris would have to come back for any deal involving Kyrie.

Harris and 12 doesn't sound like enough, but Harris and 4 are too much.
What about Vucevic and 12?
I, personally, would need Harris coming back. I actually value him more than Vuc and don't want to wait with baited breath for another SF to come back. Plus if the Cavs are going to lose Kyrie's 20 ppg, they need Harris' offense. I don't know if Orlando could make another deal to sweeten the pot or not.

Are you thinking of using the #1 on Parker/Wiggins or Exum? Sounds like you'd use it on Exum if you need Harris back. Otherwise you have your SF in Parker/Wiggins.
IMO, I think you're better off with #4 than Harris. Magic aren't giving up both. With #1 and #4 you could net Exum to replace Irving and Parker/Wiggins or Embiid. All 3 are better than Harris.

I think it would probably take Harris and No. 4. I wouldn't begrudge Magic fans for not wanting to do it. I'd just keep on looking as a Cavs fan.

Don't blame you either. We all have our breaking points.
I just have a hard time thinking you'd be getting a better chance to rebuild unless you got the Sixers or Bucks pick in the Top 3. If you're going to rebuild through the draft, getting a top pick this year to grow alongside your #1 pick makes the most sense.
#4, #12 and AA (which you could flip for more picks) would also be considered. But if the Magic are interested in Irving, then it makes more sense for them to have him grow alongside Harris.
#4 and Harkless or #12 and Vucevic are doable, but not #4 and Harris or Vucevic.
