I'm so glad Exum isn't in the conversation anymore. I watched him vs team USA in the FIBA championship again and he just looks awful.

It did look like Smart completely outclassed him. What a tough player to project.

I think Gordon is the youngest in the draft, and one of the most athletic.

Wiggins and Gordon would be an amazing defensive pair to go with Giannis :D

Well it will be interesting. Mock draft consensus has the Cavs going Wiggins, but that probasketballtalk blurb says they are leaning Parker. I still feel like they will go Parker for whatever reason.

I think smart under the right situation ceiling is wade. But not in a good situation could easily be Jennings (the bad part)

Transition hoops. Wiggins on open spot ups. Still unknown if Gianni improves his shot, which isn't broken. With him on the floor, Gordon and Wiggins can allow him to create their shot opportunities, which should improve their own FG%.

That said I want Saric with the pick traded for, high bbIQ, < size at his position, he can score and create. I value that above Gordon's athleticism.

Let's say the Knight + Sanders trade is real...

Wolters
Wiggins
Giannis
Gordon
Henson (edited because I listed Sanders for some reason before)

Its just me that maybe would rather trade henson instead of Sanders? My Sanders love is getting to DB Embiid love levels... Or worse since Sanders is an overpaid monron...

Or not:P

If we are trying to instill a sense of excitement I think we have to make a move to get another top 10 pick. How exciting was it last year? Ok, lets start moving pieces for prospects.

I'd rather move henson than Sanders but I don't think a team will take Henson and knight for the 5th - 8th pick. Sanders although value low does have a high ceiling looking at what he's done in the past.

Who wants to lose 100-95 when you can lose 82-68?

A lot of ifs here. Not one guy is a natural scorer. It would be fun to watch. Would led too another good pick thats for sure.

We wouldn't score this year, but we have players that have the potential to score after a year or two of development. Wiggins and Giannis will become better scorers of course. If we play good D and lose a bunch of games next year, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Load up on another high pick and worry about scoring in 2015.

lol word. It'll never happen because, as you say, that's not really a balanced roster. But it's crazy to think that all four of those players could all conceivably make first team all-defense.
