obviously not a great source, but a late first for ersan? damn that's nothing

Yeah but he's under contract for the next 3 seasons at about $8 mil per. With the way his legs have disappeared I'd do that in a heartbeat.

Only two years, third year is only 400k guaranteed.

Someone drafting Vonleh high is going to be disappointed imo. I don't have him in my top 10 at all. His game didn't scream hot NBA prospect when I watched him either. He was just a guy.

Seems like Gery wants to cry now that he knows the Bucks would part with Brandon Knight in the right deal.

ETA: I'm sure if Knight goes out with Sanders for pick #7 or #8, we won't hear the end of it from Gery as to how Knights "amazing trade value" had to be diluted terribly to get Sanders out.

Gery is gonna keep his mouth shut with two new billionaires in charge. Gery desperately needs favor with the organization.

I took it as the most likely Buck to move is Ersan, not that Ersan is likely to be moved. I doubt it happens, but the Bucks are dangling players for a juicy enough offer.

No need to buyout Perk. Play him until he's physically unable to play and let him drive the tank. He's an awful basketball player and I want Jahlil Okafor pretty ****ing bad next year. Outside of Knight, Giannis, Middleton, Henson, Larry and #2, I want the rest of the roster to be filled with the worst of the worst the league has to offer and I want Larry Drew to play them significant minutes. Then I want Okafor in the draft and then the whole goddamn ship blown to smithereens; keep #2, Giannis and Okafor and go from there... We are gonna need as many Kendrick Perkins as possible this year.

I think they would be foolish to keep hanging on to Rondo. IF the Sacramento pick was the best I could do, and Smart or Gordon is sitting there, I'd trade Rondo fast and worry about whether I overpaid later.

I don't totally disagree with you, but you can't discount the fact that this strategy has already been validated with a championship for Ainge and Co.

I think it's definitely available to them, as it would be an easy sell to Rondo ("We'll do it again.") and the allure of being a Celtics legend, winning championships in two decades with two totally different casts, would have to be pretty strong.

If they aren't able to get Love or Carmelo in the next ten days, I just don't see them having the assets to pull this off twice, while keeping Rondo as they did Pierce seven years ago. I think they need a deep dive rebuild and if they could come away with picks 6/8/17 like Simmons said, it would be a good start. But then again, I'm just not a huge Rondo fan. I don't value him like others do given his age and health.

The rehab story for Sanders was sure planted at a good time if in fact we are trying to trade him. No harm in trying to restore good faith in someone if ur trying to juice him up for a big move..

I'm riding with you on this one. I hope we're terrible next year. Bring on Okafor. Bring on Mudiay. Let's do this.

Agreed, I also hope we're bad, not this year bad but bad. I'd like to see Giannas and the #2 take over games but the others hold them back. Getting us into the 3-7 range for a the lottery, get some luck and draft #1.

Ersan to PHX for 27.

some combo of Knight, Henson, Sanders - (31 or 36 if neccesary) for 7/8

Knight is one of Woelfel's favorites. The talk of him in a deal to LA or SAC has been too heavy for that to be false.

I want to believe all of that.

The strength of next year's draft is yet another reason to jettison everything we can to get another top 7/8 pick in this draft right now.

Brandon Knight/Middleton/Ersan all guys who help us win games next year that won't necessarily mean much. So if we have to overpay, do it. Upside is we likely get a higher pick next year AND have one more stud prospect to watch as well this upcoming season.

I think we'd be selling low on Henson.

Where do people stand on who the Cavs take? I'm saying Parker.

Their fanbase seems to be coalescing around Wiggins at the moment.
