Sure, the draft can be exciting when you have a lotto pick, but lets not pretend like the Pistons are some lowly franchise whose "superbowl" has always been the draft or something.

Considering you were trolling with that comment anyways, I'm not sure why you even care what I said.

In other words, let's not pretend that the Pistons are the Lions.

Exactly my point. Its one thing to say that about the Lions because its true, but its simply not the case with a franchise like the Pistons.

That's awful to hear about Austin. Awful.

But props to his coach letting him be a part of his staff and letting him finish his degree. Not many kids get hired in like that, wow. Classy.

This wasn't the most exciting time of year to be a Pistons fan even when we had a pick. That would be the beginning of June in the Finals, not the end of June coming off a lotto season. If you get more excited about the lotto than the Finals, you have priorites mixed up.

I'm sorry you didn't find drafting Drummond to be the most exciting thing to happen to the Pistons for the past six years.

The last time you were excited about the Pistons was eight years ago? Kind of sad..

There's a big difference between being excited about the draft and calling it the "most exciting time" to be a Pistons fan. Answer my question. What has been the most exciting time for the Pistons to be in the past six years? The thing you're probably forgetting is that the Pistons SHOULD have a draft pick because they are a LOTTERY team and have been a LOTTERY team for quite some time now now. How the hell do you expect t be excited for the finals if the Pistons can't even make the the playoffs in the eastern conference .

You're living in the past bro. This team may have won three championships in the past, but does that make this a playoff team? Uh no. Please don't talk to me about the finals when this team can't even are the playoffs

Guys, this is a thread for discussing the draft. I will be locking this thread due to it approaching the 100 page limit and starting a new thread.

I expect this foolish argument NOT to continue onto the next thread.
