This thread needs Gary Harris bashing, we're below the requisite level for a Hornets thread.

So there is a thread on here that in fact isn't bashing this guy?

Whoa.

It's not bashing, but the second response in that one alludes to him

Lol. Have any of the mods mentioned who they prefer in the draft yet? I cant recall seeing you Sach or Slam mention anyone yet. Or do you guys sit back and watch everyone slaughter each other? :)

That must be what a Knicks fan feels like.

I can even imagine being a Raptors fan. A lot of them are embarassed by their own fan base.

haha, yes pretty much exactly what you said.

slam has been posting his personal big board with every pick. that being said, none of the three of us watch much college ball these days. just speaking for myself, i cant really get too worked up in either direction about players that i havent really watched. i can only base my opinions based on 1) our team needs and 2) opinions of each player based on those i trust. i really dont understand how some of you can have such strong opinions about some of these guys as if you have watched them play in person 500 times.

tight now, my bobcats big board probably looks something like:
embiid
parker/wiggins (tied)
exum
randle/vonlah (tied)
smart
mcdermott/stauskus (tied)
saric
gordon
lavine
harris/young (tied)

anyway... back on topic... how about that MKG?

I learnt a longggggggggggg time ago it's not worth it getting super attached to prospects - or any player for that matter. It's just not worth it.

And it is kind of sad sometimes to see the arm chair experts post like they have some sort of idea of what our front office is thinking or that they have some sort of Intel that the rest of us don't have. I just try and sit back and enjoy the ride. The p*ssing contents with other posters who have a boner for "their guy" and do what ever they can to put down other prospects just gets real tiresome to me.

Back to MKG:

His jump shot is stuffed and it seems to have got worse so Price can head off to Cleveland as far as I am concerned.

So if it were guaranteed that MKG would never substantially improve his jump shot, would you want to keep him, at least in a backup role? How little return would you accept in a trade for him?

Here's hoping that jumper gets fixed, but just curious to hear thoughts on what folks would want to see happen if it doesn't.

I would keep him, guys with elite defensive potential on the wing don't grow on trees
