Kyrie not resigning in CLE is a real threat. We could give up #4 and #12 for Irving and #33 and be well on our way.

This is my biggest dream wish for Draft day. Otherwise, Embiid/Exum or BUST.

Nothing like getting another PG first overall to send a message to your superstar PG that you want him back.

Wouldnt shock me if we trade for Parker if the guy CLE wants falls to us at 4. Maybe Exum? Parker has made it clear he doesnt want to play for the Cavs. #1 for #4 and AA? Think Cavs are done being in the lottery. Acquiring AA would be a win now approach.

Then try to move up back into 1st round with AA, Nicholson and #33?

Oh yeah. Trading AA on draft day is an automatic. Just anxious to see where and how high we can get.

We ain't taking Embiid...other teams are beginning to see other medical issues as well ?

I believe Smart will be the #4 man.

Why can nobody else see whats happening?!?!? This is 100% Arn Tellum fabricating bull stories about his injuries to ol mate Chad Ford to get Embiid to LA/Boston. The most rediculous part of the whole situation is that he is not required to share medical information with any team he doesnt want to. What ajoke. If you declare for the draft the league should mandate that all medical info is made available to any team who requests it.

The trade would prevent them from playing together. So it's not like Kyrie would be sitting disgruntled about the pick.

I don't know if he'd put Embiid through surgery to go that far.

Dude drafting a player first overall that plays the same position as your superstar point guard does not send a winning message in any context... Not to mention Exum is not exactly nba ready.

If anything the cavs need to show that they are trying to build a team around Irving.

Not even mentioning they have Waiters at sg. Let's assume he can be moved.

The chances of the cavs taking exum without moving Irving are less then zero

He would be a perfect fit on a team with a few scoring players that needs rebounding, defence and heart , not Orlando who struggles to score.

I'm gonna be mad salty if he forces his way to LA/BOS and really does end up being the next Hakeem. :nonono:

Have they given any indication he is on the market? Everything I read they want nothing but to keep him.

There were reports that they were afraid to offer him a contract extension for fear of public humiliation. They received word that he might not take their offer. With the disarray that the franchise is in, it would not shock me if they were secretly shopping him.

Not a fan of Vonleh. If Exum isn't there, then take a chance on Embiid.

Usually the trades that are more likely to happen are the ones that no one hears about, I.e. The Noel/holiday trade last year or using players or teams that no one saw coming, ie, Howard trade

I would build around Irving too if he was a sure commitment to resign with the team. But right now, he's giving them a reason to look at other options. Right now CLE is a mess and they are going no where fast. They say the want to win now, but they are a long ways away from being there. Top FAs (Melo/Love) don't want to go there. They need to consider starting all over. Getting 2 of Parker/Wiggins/Exum/Embiid is a good start at a new foundation and would buy patience from the fan base.

How much more is a Parker or Wiggins going to be an upgrade over Deng who they traded for last year? In 1 year, they will be in the same boat. Win Now is just not in their cards. If it were... Melo/Love would be looking at them.

All this said, I think they'll hang onto Irving until the very last minute.

you guys are crazy with the irving stuff, you need to stop playing nba 2k right before you post here. There is absolutely 0 chance the cavs say ok, lets trade Irving for a rookie + anything. at that point might as well blow it up, which would be a huge **** you to all the cleveland fans who are already hurt by the lebron thing.

I don't get the anti Vonlay stuff. He is one of the youngest guys in the draft has a great work ethic and rebounds and blocks shots. Almost double the blocks of Randle with 1/3 less playing time.

He might be a steal at 4

FOrd and Goodman did a mock draft on twitter earlier. It was guys they would take, not who they think teams will take.

Goodman ended up making both our picks and got us Embiid and Payton. I could live with that.... :-D
