Could we please sticky those threads of the roud of 16?

I expect a very tight matchup with Brazil being the favourite. It will be interesting to see how they can handle those agile offensive players of Chile, especially with Chile being able to play a more counter attacking style.

Brazil really do not want to run into a South American team that knows them intimately this early in the tournament. Let's go Chile 2-0. :D

Rooting for Chile to go far, and with Brazil surprisingly unimpressive except for god like performances from Neymar and Oscar helping them win the group. I'd say Chile should win this quite convincingly

Chile, Costa Rica, Holland and France have been funnest teams to watch so far

This can go either way, but I still expect Brazil to win quite convincingly, 3-1. Individual talent will be too much for the Chilean defense.

People forget that Brazil OWNS Chile. They always beat them. Just look at the H2H the last couple of years.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Sure, first of all I'm assuming that Brazil is going to use the same XI they've used so far.

This game will simply be won in the midfield, I also like Chile's midfield and back 3 that can easily convert to a back 4 with one holding as they use mainly midfielders as CBs, and Brazil have too many players underachieving, apart from Luiz/Silva/Oscar/Neymar/Luis Gustavo, the rest of the team have been below average to poor.

Chile with their pressing and constant movement has been a joy to watch, and I'd expect them to line up like they did against Spain. Constantly press from the go and try to score a quick one, press the defenders so that the ball ends up in midfield with Gustavo/Paulinho, also try to cut off the supply to Neymar/Oscar/Hulk by man marking them like they did against Silva and Alonso. Have the wing backs bomb up and down the line, quick counter attacks if Alves/Marcelo are forward, this could drag the CBs out wide and have Sanchez/Vidal/Vargas expose the space in behind.

This is a scenario I could see constantly happening at this game, Chile are the best team when it comes to pressing at this tournament, they've been smart and aggressive with their pressing and they all do it as a unit, and with Fred's lack of pace, a ball over the top is not an ideal plan. I'm not saying that Brazil have no chance of winning, at the end of the day, if Neymar plays like he has been in this tournament and just takes over Brazil will win this, but I'm sure Chile are aware of that and will try to stop him and perhaps double on him when he's on the ball, it's up to the others to help him out

I have a feeling that Chile is going to advance from this pair.
