If I was to guess, I'd guess this Ennis dude will have the same fate as Varnado and Pittman before him: overhyped by fans for no good reason, ends up on the end of the bench handing over Gatorade and waving a towel while averaging 2 min/game.
That would be a shame. The young man has talent and has a great bb iq.
Given recent history, GOM's fears are reasonable. I wasn't too high on Varnado, but Pittman I saw as the second coming of Kendrick Perkins with more offensive game. Once he came to the team, I was sorely disappointed. He was more of a stiff than Wayne Simien, though Simien's excuse was a deep bench, bad luck, and poor health.
