But very enlightened view of Charlotte you got there  If I were you I wouldn't drive down for it, but not sure why you expected free stuff. They probably will have door prizes, but the draw is not that you will get free stuff.
There aren't many vendors, but you can get a hotdog and popcorn or whatever, basic food stuff. Hugo will be there. Kids can get their face painted. They have some games set up - last year there was a hoop and they played knock out or horse. The dance team is there. It's a pretty fun atmosphere.

Well if I'm sitting in the arena that's different. I don't want to be roaming around the concessions loop, that's all. I won't be eating any of that crap anyways. I eat strict paleo/primal, non-GMO, low-carb, low Omega-6 fat, organic, local meats whenever possible, wild caught-seafood, nothing farm-raised nor feedlot. And yeah, the people in Asheville are way cooler than Charlotte on the whole. It's more liberal here, more open to individual ingenuity and free thought.

Yes, much more liberal and full of free thought, with extreme judgment towards people who dont have the same diet and lifestyle as you. Free thought utopia.

Who says I hold extreme judgment towards people who don't eat the same diet and live the same lifestyle as me? I'm particular about the food I eat. You can do what you want.

I'm also boycotting the draft party for not meeting my paleo diet needs.

Cussing at someone who offered you something would be extreme. It is not like he said hey can I shoot you in the face. A simple no thank you would be more than appropriate. I have been to Asheville and it was fine but it is not like there are not plenty of jerks there too. They are no more accepting than people down here they just accept different thing. Party will be good fun though to get back on topic.

Does anyone know if the party will be like last year where everyone stood up or will they let us sit in the arena?

Are you guys ready to strangle Rich Cho if he drafts Gary Harris / McDermott / Stauskas? :D

No because McDermott and Stauskas would be good picks. I fully expect one of the three that you mentioned to be selected though.

I'll be sorely disappointed if he drafts Harris but not nearly as mad as when he drafted Zeller and MKG. I'm fine with McDerm and Stauskas. If he drafts Payton I'll probably have to be taken into the ER for scratching my head into an open wound.
