Harden for Melo trade?

Post#1 » by MKL » Wed Jun 25, 2014 6:53 pm

From the RGM front page.

In a radio appearance, Chris Broussard reported that the Houston Rockets and New York Knicks could agree upon a sign-and-trade of Carmelo Anthony for James Harden.

The Rockets could then sign LeBron James with anticipated cap space created by trading away Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin in order to form a Big 3 with Anthony and Dwight Howard.

James and Anthony have reported interest in playing together.

Harden was a first-team All-NBA selection, but there have been questions on whether his game fits with Howard.

Melo > Harden

If you want to win now.

If Melo say I don't want to play with ballhog Harden, what then?

I'm not sure if that's really the case, IMO it's more like McDimwitHell letting the ball be in Harden's hand all the times that's creating the problem. Poor Harden, getting tremendous bad rep around the league cuz of the headless chicken situation. But of course, the incompetent coach has the support of Il Duce and his CFasncistic fans juggernaut, uniting the opinion of most tickets buying public for shady reasons, what are the players gonna do?

Um......does that mean Dwight's not happy with the situation?

Wow! Dwight, LeBron and Carmelo.......OMG!! What a frontline! With a 3 and D guy like Sefalosha or even Garcia, that'd be a monster team! They might be able to win quite a bit in the PO even with a clueless headcoach. Or are they still gonna lose big in the playoffs?

Speculation only. Something he is throwing out.

But James agrees and says you have get Melo to finalize it then goodbye Harden.

Anyways it is believed that Wade and Bosh are opting out so what little chance at getting James is out the door. Maybe even Melo.

There seriously should be a forum rule to not be allowed to post rumors from Chris Broussard. The dude is like never right.

Before any super star trade can take place, the Rockets has to move both Asik and Lin and receive NO salary back plus pay for 15m rental fees.

The key words: NO salary and 15m rental. I simply do not see any team would do this trade unless Rockets give up a lot of assets.

This is the reason why I believe both Asik and Lin will be here in 2015

This trade makes sense if it means LeBron comes to Houston to play with 'Melo, but otherwise, Hardin is the best player in such a trade.

I prefer Harden until the post season when reference no longer calls his flop. Post season is where true star like Melo destroy Harden

Harden for Melo trade?

Post#15 » by jcsunsfan » Sat Jun 28, 2014 7:11 am

If you want the cap space to sign both Melo and LeBron the Suns could give it to you. You could even get a productive player and a pick. Say you get Gerald Green and the Lakers first next year (top 3 protected) for Harden (and someone else that you might want to dump for more cap space).

You could sign both Melo and LeBron and the Suns would feel like they got a steal. For you that's a lot better than trading Harden for Melo.

It could be waiting and ready to go so you could go recruit both, and if they agree, bam pull the trigger.

1ST GET MELO

THAN SEE WHAT YOU CAN GET FOR HARDEN FROM OTHER TEAMS/FCK THE KNICKS

BEING VERY SIMILAR PLAYERS MELO HARDEN DUO MAY NOT WORK OUT

I DO BELIEVE HARDEN HAS ALOT OF TRADE VALUE GETTING A REAL GOOD PG LIKE RONDO OR PF LIKE LOVE WOULD BE GREAT
fire morey please ,the sooner the better.....ryan Anderson is a 3 not a 4

Return to Houston Rockets
