I'm really looking forward to the Swiss facing Argentina. Some might disagree with me, but it should be an exciting match up, and I could definitely see Switzerland eliminating Argentina.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

Rooting for the swiss, expect argentina not to **** it up, although this could well turn into a repeat of 2010 because this argentinian side have not impressed at all and are no better against the ball or against counters.

Imagine when they play Belgium in the QF with Hazard, De Bruyne and Mertens. :o

Only a miracle can make Switzerland win.
Their defense is too weak to handle Messi and their goalkeeper defends the corner kick very bad.

They would need to score an early goal and then just play full defense like Iran did on them.

They finally started playing their best CB in that last game, if they can sort out the spot next to him with a defensive tactic they can absolutely hold off the argentinians, especially since they have the legs to win the midfield battle and starve Messi&Co. of service.

I can see Shaqiri causing a lot of trouble for the Argentinian defense. I mean, look how they fared against Nigeria this afternoon.

Argentina is having major trouble at containing, the defensive midfield is not stopping anyone so if you have fast people around Mascherano you can give them problem.
Iran deserved to win against them, had the best chances to score.

I really liked the way the fluidity of that trio let Shaq really shine today, Drmic was excellent and Mehmedi floated around with them well. Xhaka needs to have his coming out party now, and with that argentinian midfield and defense I could certainly see him playing some deadly through balls and finding space to unleash his heavy shot.

If it's Schar/Klose they have a chance.

Yeah, hopefully it will be. Speedy, tricky players will kill either of them, and Messi looks like he's come to play this WC

This is true, he's almost as good against german defenders for his NT as Ronaldo is for his!
