Sure it does because he just loved playing with Felton and Chandler!

Felton, no. Chandler, maybe.

I do not think he liked playing with either one. The cynicism just went past you.

No, I understood you weren't being serious, but I think Melo probably likes Chandler. It's not Chandler's fault the Knicks were awful, he played his hardest and held the team accountable for their shortcomings. It seems like the players on the Knicks that Melo probably wouldn't want to play with again are the guys like Shumpert, Felton and Smith.

I have been all over twitter and the net for the past 3 days and its been real quiet on the Love to PHX front. Now out of the blue our name gets called out as a place he has turned down, yet the "source" of that material can not be found? Sounds shady to me.

With that being said, the one thing that really sucks is not being able to speak to love and instead having to use The Wolves as the middle man. No matter what Love says, they will do and say what they want teams to believe. Its also hard for us to give Love info on our future plans.

Just say for the moment Love actually did give us a no to re-signing, If he knew we were also trying to land Lebron or Melo or another star, would he still say no, or would his answer change? Im betting it would change, but there is no way of talking to him on the sly about it, and we dont want to give our gameplan to the Wolves or they can use it against us or leak it out.

Yeah, it's been over 1.5 hours and still nothing else about what Woj said. I guess the guy handling the NBA2kgames twitter account was the only one that watches Foxsports 1.

The thing that really doesn't makes me not believe it is that the Celtics aren't listed so presumably he would sign with them. I can believe him maybe not wanting to sign with the Suns, but why the hell would he want the Celtics over the Suns or even the Cavs? Both teams that have better talent in place and the cap to make major moves.

It's hard to find because (apparently) Woj said it on TV. I see other people on twitter besides the 2k twitter guy saying the same thing. What he said could have been misinterpreted though, as it was spoken and not written.

None of the local guys are putting it out there. I'd think Coro would have mentioned something by now.

Woj knows everything. I don't remember Coro ever breaking a trade, he has the tendency to report things after they happen. The last I remember any local media breaking a story was Gambo with the Nash trade, yet that was under the old FO. McDonough doesn't seem to feed the local media as much as Blanks did. Woj is well connected with all the agents throughout the league, so it's possible Love's agent told him this.

Coro usually re-tweets Woj information to confirm it. I still have yet to see anything from Woj saying that Love won't sign with the Suns.

Wolves fans are pissed lol

Kevin Love is not worth the #1 Pick lol.

Waiters + Thompson + 2 future 1st may get it done.

Saunders gon' Saunders. Thinks he has all the leverage in the world, until trade deadline happens and he loses everything. Love isn't re-signing. Made that clear. Saunders better take what he can get while there is some value still left. Once training camp hits, all the leverage is gone and he'll get traded for kibbles and bits.

What are you talking about? Leverage goes up as the deadline gets closer, because teams will generally offer more if time is running out. They will then give their final best offer.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Love's agent has told the Suns he won't resign. He's not giving any team a "commitment" this summer; he's going to test the market next summer no matter where he ends up. I also think he has a pretty small list of teams he "wants" to play for and it's not all about basketball or best fit with him. This situation is very similar to the Dwight situation two summers ago.

IMO it's been pretty obvious since the start of the summer he's ending up in Golden State. The whole "we won't trade Clay" was always laughable. Now lets say Curry suffers some crazy injury or Love simply doesn't like it there he'll leave them in a heartbeat next summer.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Totally agree. If Woj said it I tend to buy it. Bye, Bye, Love.

From reports, it sounds like Love narrowed his options and let the T-Wolves/other interested teams know about it.

Woj's not going to tweet it. Woj is oddly employed by both Yahoo Sports and Fox Sports 1, two competitors. If he tweeted about everything he said on Fox Sports 1, where's the exclusivity in that? I'm sure his contract with Fox Sports states that they get a little bit of the "scoop" instead of Yahoo.

Woj appeared on the Dan Patrick show a few days ago talking about a possible Carmelo to Bulls SnT, and commented on how the Knicks don't want Boozer. He never tweeted about that little tidbit. He's not going to tweet about every little thing he hears.

Lin can be a decent backup PG for us in our system and Parsons is the perfect SF we're looking for.

Do we have the cap space?

I dont want to take any teams roleplayers just to help them land a star like Lebron/Love/Melo.

Yeah, the Suns would need more value than Bledsoe is worth or they just keep him. Lin has negative value, especially with his balloon payment and if the choice is between an overpaid Parsons and an overpaid Bledsoe then you take Bledsoe every time.

I don't think SF88 was advocating trading Bledsoe for Lin and Parsons, but to take Lin's contract in order to get Parson's, kind of like we took Butler's to get Bledsoe.

So we would just absorb them and send back a 2nd round pick or something. I think it would be a move worth making (or at least thinling about) IF just we realized we are out of the running for the big names and don't like anyone else much on the free agency radar.

Ultimately I wouldn't be surprised if McD just did something like that again with our cap space, but I'd rather it be from a team in the east so we don't end up just making the west better. But if it's a long term view/plan, it's worth thinking about either way. I'd probably try to pry a pick as well.

Yeah, I think that's been pretty obvious. I don't know if anyone else will trade with us, especially since there is a good chance one of those teams in there really want Stauskas. I'm fine with that. Stauskas is they guy I want most, but I think there are so many good players in the teens I'd rather keep both of those picks.

Yeah, I guess no one in the local media has Fox Sports 1. I find it odd that no one credible has mentioned what Woj allegedly said(at least from what I've seen).
