I like Z-Bo too. Could also stretch the floor when he needs to. I just hope he doesn't gas out with all the fast breaks and running we'll surely do.

Not necessarily, he could be the one initiating a fast break with the rebound. It was the same false thought about KT and a running team. We have to secure the rebound before we can trigger a fast break, and it rarely ever is all five guys on a fast break.

However, if we did pick up Zbo, we would really need a stretch five to open up room for him to work. I think Plumlee would take up needed space for Zbo and the guards to work.

Agreed. I think we are one of the top 5 destinations for him.

Now pretend you're not a Suns fan. Who do you think are the 5 teams?

I don't know if the cap numbers would work, but I'd love to try and go after Carmelo and play him at PF. He's shown he can do it, and wouldn't be any worse than Frye at it. He's a better defender and rebounder than Frye. I'd then like to sign or trade for a defensive rim protector (Asik, Chandler, Dieng, Henson, Sanders, etc) to make up for the defensive laps. Sign Bledsoe, sign Tucker. Bledsoe, Tucker, Chandler can be the defensive guys. Take Harris and Anderson and hopefully package 1st for future 1st or sign European. I think this would be a solid team. Get a true scorer.

People hate on Melo too much. Playoffs 10 out of 11 years in his career and made WCF and was a couple freak shots by the Lakers from making the NBA Finals. Has more wins than losses in his playoff career too.

Bledsoe / Harris (14)
Dragic / Green
Tucker / Anderson (18)
Carmelo / Markieff / Marcus
Chandler / Plumlee / Len

I'm just afraid he resorts back to the old Zach Randolph. AKA this ZR...

listening to the Zach Lowe podcast. He's hearing Bron isn't open to outside the box teams like Atlanta or phoenix (Lowe likes both fits).

Thinks it's really down to Miami, Houston, and maybe clips. Dude that's on with him says he's going going to sign a short term deal to give himself a quick out no matter where he goes.

Yeah, my gut feeling is that he signs a deal with Miami where either he can opt out after one year, or just a one year contract. Then I think he will join Melo in NY next year if Melo stays (which I think is 50/50).

If Melo goes to Chicago (or Houston) I think LeBron will think hard about trying to go to LAC or Houston (Chicago) because he knows he won't likely be able to join Melo at all. But outside of those possibilities, I think he goes back to Miami for a year.

I think there is almost zero chance we get LeBron or Melo.

Actually I it just occurred to me that NY may try to sign both LeBron and Melo (extremely small chance they can clear enough cap space though). They are obviously trying to shed salary. Maybe they will try VERY hard to dump Bargnani or Amare, and if not, LeBron and Melo will both take pay cuts to play for Jackson in NY. There is a small chance of this happening, but I thought I'd throw it out there because NY is obviously trying to cut salary.

And I still think there is a small possibility they both go to the Lakers.

McD wins GM of the year/decade if he can get LeBron/Love/Melo, as much as I would hate Melo on this team. Just the sheer fact he could bring in a top tier player to our "small market" team would be damn impressive.

97% chance we don't get either of those players, but damn impressive if he could pull it off.

Gambo mentioned Gasol and Deng. Deng if Tucker leaves.

Burns and Gambo also were talking about Bosh being a "perfect fit" in Phoenix but could he be the Alpha Dog again.

Gambo has a good source - probably Sarver since he always has the information.

I stopped being interested once he said he knew he was no longer a post player. Seems to me he's lost weight since joining the Heat. Who is Chris Bosh, anyways?
