Just a question for Cavalier fans

Post#1 » by holden3 » Wed Jun 25, 2014 11:18 pm

From what I read, the Cavs will take Parker if they can't trade their pick for something better.

Parker is a poor defender and the Cav's are a poor defensive team.

Kyrie can't or won't put much effort into defense. Dion is not a good defender, Bennett can't defend, Tristan tries but is not a good defender and side show bob is getting older.

Wouldn't Wiggins be the better choice since he is a 2 way player?

And if the Cav's want Lebron back, why is Dan's letter still up on their website? Kind of awkward...

Anyone who uses sideshow Bob has an agenda and isn't here for real answers.

No agenda. I just like anderson varejao's nickname. In fact he's my favourite Cav's player.

I don't see how me asking about picking parker over wiggins or why dan's letter is still on their website can be construed as having an agenda.

Sideshow bob isn't Anderson Varejao only idiots call him that. Anyone who knows anything about him know's it's wild thing. Anyone who comes here and calls him that has an agenda and comes from a place of not knowing anything about him or the team.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people call him that. It doesn't mean they have an agenda or know nothing about him/the team.

Dion is not a bad defender. He is probably our best perimeter defender.

I'm pretty sure lots of people call LeBron LeQuitter, LeDouchebag, etc, but it's all good right?

^ Dion is better but he's not good.

People are so misinformed about tristans defence. He's easily better than Varejao defensively.

Anyway we picked wiggins.

He's not that good you're right but he has the ability to defend well, he has all the tools, where I think Kyrie might be lacking athleticism & physical traits to do so such as wingspan etc.

But who knows.

BUT WE GOT WIGGINS.

Not on the ball. TT is a better help defender but he's not a good on the ball defender.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Thompson is a way better on ball defender now. Varejao is really only good at disruptive defense that is usually a guards strength. Varejao is a good one on one post defender when hes in position to do so but far too often he's not. Thompson is far more reliable defensively i dont think its really close.

A good answer. We'll reconvene in a year on that one.

All apologies if you think I have an agenda, there's really nothing I can say say if you think I have agenda. I just thought my questions were valid.

But you ended up with Wiggins which was a great pick (imo) b/c he's a 2 way player. Defense was an issue with the Cavs

Missed the Dan's letter part.

I guess in the world where cowards that can't stand by their word delete their twitter statuses claiming they were hacked soon as they say something off track, you'd expect it to be taken down?

Either they're a coward or too stupid to sign out of twitter. Lose lose situation if people knew what hacking actually means.

Looks like they took down the letter.

They are "cowards" by your reply, but I don't think so. It's just sound business when they are trying to recruit.

He stood by his word for 4 years, at this point he's merely doing due diligence, even a rapist eventually pulls out.

Had he backed from his word following day or week it'd be a different story.

That letter gave us hope as a fanbase after being shtted on live on national tv, the letter said we will come back & rise, dan gilbert is a leader man.
