Should be the most exciting day of the year for a lottery team like us, but alas no first-rounder. Hope we can get involved in a couple of trades.

Get ready for a hundred posts about "player at #38" and how they could probably start for us and could've gone much earlier. I miss the first round

Make your prediction of the nights events -

Piston pick - Dwight Powell, PF/Ce out of Stanford.

Trades - Love is traded to Golden State

Rondo traded to Sacramento for #8, McLemore, Thomas, filler (that was linked here) and future first.

Jeff Green is dealt for a later pick as well. Boston makes three first round picks in complete tear down/rebuild.

I'll probably watch the entire draft- well, up until 38.

I don't have anything else going on tonight.

Looking forward to see what happens and who goes where, hopefully we can get someone decent at 38.

I'll be in the gym during the Draft today. For some weird reason this years draft doesn't excite me.

My prediction:
-I got us including our 2nd round pick in a trade scenario for Jeff Green

-Love gets traded during the draft

-Rondo gets traded

-Brandon Knight and Sanders are packaged together in a trade

Josh Smith traded to Sacto for Carl Landry, Jason Thompson, #17 (acquired earlier in Rondo deal)

Draft Shabazz Napier with it - Drummond and Napier are buddies.

Orlando traded Aaron Afflalo to Denver for Evan Fournier and the 56th pick.

We couldn't top that offer?

We have KCP and he will be our starter at SG. He's younger and cheaper. I believe in him.

That's what I was thinking, fournier is decent but we could of traded the 38th pick and someone like singler for afflalo.

K C P & 38 couldn't get Afflalo?

No offense to KCP intended but it's Double A!

Maybe Detroit wasn't privy to the deal happening? It's not as if they conduct these trade talks on conference call with the other 28 teams.

Chicago was going hard after him too, can't believe Fournier was the going price for a pretty high level starting wing in his prime. Denver also doesn't really need him, already have Gallo, Chandler, Foye at the 3. Guessing at least one of them is gone now.

(Side note: I'm dreading how many posters here are going to feel their 'K Love for Singler and #38' offers are reasonable now. Stupid Magic.)

Afflalo's only got one more year left on his deal; no way we should've traded KCP for a potential rental.

HoopsHype rumor's page reports that Nuggets may have acquired AA to include in a Love trade, Zach Lowe saying he's "waiting for the other shoe to drop." I'm really not sure how AA improves Denver's offer enough to get Love, but then again I really don't get what the T-Wolves are thinking anyhow.
