We want Wiggins/Parker/Exum

We'll get Fournier and Vonleh.

I will say this about Rob, he does what HE wants. I just hope it works because the media will kill him if it goes wrong.

@mySynergySports In limited minutes the 20th pick in the 2012 draft 20 year old Evan Fournier ranked as the 43rd most efficient scorer

possesses ideal physical attributes for a NBA wing at 6-7 with a strong frame, and has the ability to create his own shot very effectively thanks to his excellent size, strength, and ball-handling skills. Despite his height, he's able to get very low with his dribble, showing terrific footwork and body control driving into the lane, often using crafty change of speed moves, spins and hesitations.

Patient and mature with his drives, he reads the secondary line of defense extremely well, frequently making intelligent passes off the dribble to cutting teammates as help-side defenders rotate towards him.

Fournier is capable of playing above the rim, even if he doesn't always feel compelled to, as he finishes extremely well around the basket, converting 63% of his attempts around the rim on the season according to Synergy Sports Technology, and a very efficient 55% of his 2-pointers overall.

you left this out

Defensively, Fournier has the ability to be very effective when he's dialed in and using his excellent size and anticipation skills to his advantage. Unfortunately, he's very inconsistent in his effort, looking quick to relax in his stance and not doing a great job bending his knees and being physical fighting through screens. This, coupled with his short (6-7 ½) wingspan and average lateral quickness, makes him fairly ineffective trying to stay in front of quicker guards on the perimeter, which is somewhat of a concern looking to the NBA.

I assumed everyone understood why he went 20th and not top 5...my bad...I should have explained that we got him because of his offensive efficiency + passing and size - and not his defense.

In all seriousness, this tells me we are drafting Exum or Smart. We needed to make time for Oladipo and our new guard.

media killed him for the Howard trade...he has a plan and its a long game with a much wider scope and lifespan than a media tweet

Fournier isn't a throw in, hes an actual asset.

If I had said an hour ago that we should trade Afflalo for fournier I'd get laughed out of here, but now that it has actually happened people in here are saying its a good move and saying people are being shortsighted

At some point of time, I think we did not bow down to Arn Tellem and there is some bad blood between the Magic and Tellem.

Anybody remembers anything close to that?

Relax I figured out our plan. We are signing both Lebron and Melo. Melo/Lebron/Vucevic/Oladipo/Smart or Exum.

He is an asset, but there's a reason that the league is collectively saying WTF.

Who cares what the rest of the league is saying. Obviously we all overrated Afflalo's value around here.
