The trade can be official literally as soon as the Grizz make the selection. They don't have to wait til pick 60 is made.

I know. I saw a lot of posters saying they kept hitting refresh hoping for this deal to be finalized, so wanted to make their lives easier and let them know their going to have to wait til after the pick is made.

You've contradicted yourself here.

But I don't think you can paint with such a broad brush between 20 and 40. Masai has targeted his guys and doesn't think one (hopefully Inglis) will be there at 37. So he makes this type of decision. He's got access to more scouting reports than we do, and a track record of success.

Stauskas to Raps

I'd fap so much if this happened. One of my fave players in the draft.

Would also be a great PR move plus he's so smooth with his shot. I also love his confidence/cockiness.

His shot is fantastic. I think he's got a lot of room for improvement. Once he becomes better at driving it opens up a lot for him.

In some order of #20/#22

- Bachynski @ #59. Huge haul.

If Bachynski is there at 59, why not just let him slide and then invite him to Summer League? We'd be better off taking a Euro stasher.

We're already taking a Euro stasher with our 1st round pick. It's the start of a new trend.

Unless I am mistaken (feel free to correct) yes we have MLE... But how much the MLE is depends on where we are in relationship to cap and luxury tax.

Ahh okay thanks. Wonder how much we will have to play with. I still think Masai is going to sign one more big wing (Prince won't be enough) and maybe a vet C.

I wonder if Salmons know there's a 34 page thread about him on RealGM.

But it has nothing to do with the 2013 pick. It's because MEM already traded a protected 2015 1st away. Past picks don't matter.

Not sure if you're joking, but it's not about him, it's about pick #22

If we are taking on the toxic contract of Prince, who is done btw I don't see why we need to add an asset in the 37th pick. Salmons contract will provide Memphis immediate cap relief, while still picking up 37, which they probably view similar to myself. Value wise it's not a good deal for us, IMO.

Prince is done. He's not much better than Salmons at this point, and we know all too well the extent of Salmons' crappiness.

I think Masai only does this deal if there's a player he really wants still available at #22. Then again, why not take that player with our existing #20 pick? Either Masai has two wants, or the player he wants will be gone before the 20th pick comes along and he's looking to trade up.

Please let it be DD + 20 + 22 + future first for a top 3 pick :)
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I wish you could trade just prior to the selecrion like in the NFL. So it's like your team gets to make the pick, instead of the other team making the pick on your behalf.
