We CANNOT trade for Parsons, he's a RFA and contingent on him, not only demanding to come here (he's got bad blood with this team) but also fitting his salary under the TPA. Rockets have 0 incentive to do it. Don't get your hopes up.

He is not a RFA yet, that remains to be seen if they decline the option, which, if they want him to be the asset used to help move LIn's contract, they will pick up the option and he will be on a one year $900k contract.

It doesn't matter. He's either a RFA, or he has a year before he becomes a UFA. Either way, he's not a good trade chip.

The Warriors are risking nothing though. The offer would be a TPE and maybe a second round pick.

Lin is also expiring, but there is a decent chance we could convince one (or both) to re-sign after next season. I would love if Iggy continued running his mouth and they decide to move to Parsons as the long term 3.

In that case neither is Love.

With LaVine here, Mavericks, Pelicans and Nuggets all trading to get better, we should really really not try to win now and get a rebuild package. Don't do the Golden State trade! I think we are waiting to see if Cavs can get LeBron/trade Wiggins.

This. I'd be fine, I guess, with a Denver trade with Faried and friends, but anything less than Wiggens would be at least somewhat disappointing to me.

Either way, I plan to bandwagon Orlando this upcoming season. :-?

Orlando have Oladipo, Gordon and Payton. I love all those guys. No shooting though.

I've heard the talks between GS and MIN don't involve picks in this years draft anymore, so there is really no urgency to strike the deal any time soon.

They need a good shooting coach there, but their defense and transition play should be elite in a few years.

Saw this a while ago somewhere else, dunno if it was posted.

Chris Broussard @Chris_Broussard ·
Source who spoke with KLove says he would definitely "100 pct" stay in Cleveland longterm if LeBron is there

That would suck if Shabazz Napier was the reason we were unable to trade for Wiggins

It appears that Lebron has a crush on Napier but I can't believe for one second that Napier will decide the outcome of where Lebron ends up. My hope is that Melo goes back to New York and Rick Bucher is right about Bosh potentially back in Toronto. At that point Lebron heading home and the Cavs trading for Love makes perfect sense.

Bring me Wiggins and Tristan and fluff and let's play...

If you go to the trade board a Cavs fan thinks they won't have to give us Wiggins for him because if LeBron goes there then Love will force his way to the Cavs

In the Celtics board, they think that can give us Green and Bradley + Sully or KO to get Love.
No Smart or J.Young.

Not sure what board you're looking at, but most C fans think we're not in the running after the draft ended.
