Gordon mentioned how the Magic will be a high paced running team and he and 'Dipo can toss lobs to eachother...

This team will be a lot of fun to watch. Was surprised at 4, but I'm warming up to Gordon, Payton looks like he will be a heck of a player. I see Gordon as a PF in today's NBA.

Even tho I wanted Exum getting Gordon and Payton is a good draft for us. I'm ready to see what kinda noise we can make next year with our athletic, high paced, hard nosed defensive game. It's gonna be fun to watch n we are gonna draw A TON of fouls!

They also got VO a running mate in Payton (it isn't Exum, but Payton was the 2nd guard that I wanted behind him). The AA trade was big time because they bring in a younger player with tremendous upside and at a fraction of the cost. The only thing that hasn't happened tonight that I thought would happen is the trading of Nelson for a pick and player. That may still happen though.

Pick and player for Nelson?

Yes there was talk before the draft that the Magic could send Nelson to a team who was looking to gain cap space this offseason since Nelson has a 8 million dollar team option. We would take the player they want to unload and of course a pick. Didn't happen in the draft, but could still happen this summer with future considerations.

I'm interested. We should be an exciting and crazy athletic team. We are going to turn it over a lot but hopefully we can work through that.

They might not be the best shooters right now but if we can find and take the best shot, keep the ball moving, it will help them build a rhythm and the shots should come easy.

I'm concerned about the future draft picks we gave up to in essence move up two spots.

Be nice when the picks involved are clarified but it looks Magic lose that Philly pick and maybe 2nds were swapped.

if you look at the protections, giving back the Philly pick is no great loss

Trading up for Glen Robinson III or Kyle Anderson would be amazing, IMO.

Great draft for us! Gordon is only 19 years old, possibly still growing (somebody lookup his plates), I believe when all is said and done we got the best PF and best PG in this draft. I like Elfrid's confidence in saying he is the best PG in this draft!

We didn't given up Vuc, Harris or Dipo and added well to this team. Everybody should be happy. Can't wait to see what Henny adds in Free Agency.
