30th Pick: Kyle Anderson
Love the pick. Fills a need at SF and he can do it all.

Re: 30th Pick: Kyle Anderson
I really like the pick. High BBIQ player that knows how to pass the ball. Most mocks had him in the top 20 range.
He should be happy
Anderson absolutely falls in the right situation with a coach that will know how to use such an unique player.

Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Re: 30th Pick: Kyle Anderson
Chip gotta fix his shot though.. It doesn't look right. Everything else is great. He's Boris Diaw clone for me.
Also, Diaw has to become a full time starter if Anderson is to get playing time. We can't play him with Diaw in the second unit. Too weak rebounding team. And i really dont think he can play SF right now because he's way too slow. He'd be better used as a stretch four againts backup guys.

His future's probably at the 4 but I don't see him having issues playing the 3 either. He just needs to get in better shape, it's scary how similar he is to Diaw.
And if he's willing to work I don't see any reason why Chip can't fix that shot.

Re: 30th Pick: Kyle Anderson
You got the best pick between Post #20. He has a few issues with the shot, will need to work on his ball-handling and will need to build strength but to let someone like him fall to #30 is insane. Too much emphasis solely placed on athleticism has blinded the league like a herd of buffalo running off a cliff.

I hate you guys so much. He'll fit right into the Spurs system so well. It's not even funny.

Re: 30th Pick: Kyle Anderson
the minute kyle stepped on the pauley floor, i knew he was special. he did what he was told to do. no shot? he worked on it,,,,48% from 3. a triple double waiting to happen. strong rebounder. without him, ucla was nothing. he had to carry more on his shoulders than any other ucla player ever.
kyle's game is "do what's best for the team". he is perfect for SA

Great job on the pick!
Some comparisons for Kyle have been to that of Jalen Rose. Knowing the coaching staff down there, they could perhaps help him to that level. If he could become just like Rose, what a steal!

I just watched his highlights. Holy **** this guy's passing is so natural and smooth and in-flow. He can learn even more from the Spurs and come along perfectly.
Damn, Spurs crush all.

Warriors fan. Please stop trolling the other 29 teams. This is unfair.

Re: 30th Pick: Kyle Anderson
This is Kawhi Leonard all over again. A guy the majority of realgm posters knew was a good player and only the Spurs have the smarts to pick him up. Guys with his size combined with his ball skills are can't miss players. KD knew he was a can't miss player too.

Congrats Spurs on another one. Very few teams can accommodate a player of his skillset and downsides so, this is the best position for him to be drafted.

Needs to bulk up, lose fat, work on his shot, and well, he is gonna be a 4.. key player for the future! I believe

Re: 30th Pick: Kyle Anderson
All reports he is the best passer in the draft.
Should be a really good fit for us. I do think we won't see a big impact from him until next season. Depending on how quick he picks up the offence.
So far so good for us.
