To me he is like a poor mans PAYNE lol> He doesnt seem as NATURAL with the ball, but at the same time hes affective. He also doesnt appear to have a huge upside. I think he will be decent but I would have rather taken PAYNE with the 9th pick

I really like Payne also. Vonleh was the unanimous BPA so we had to get him, but I wouldve been very happy with Payne too. But Vonleh dropping is puzzling. Did Gordon really impress or was Vonleh unimpressive? I'd like to know what caused his drop cause nobody thought he'd be the one to fall at 9 unless teams really wanted to have the smokescreens in order to get Randle

Thats what I was thinking because I didn't even consider us drafting him because I thought he would go before 5. I think he didn't impress much but maybe its a good pick because most of the other teams were probably set on their players so it was probably a matter of the two players being he and Gordon. I think Gordon has all the potential in the world. In fact I think he has more POTENTIAL than Blake Griffin

I hope it mean that we're planning on re-signing him, and that the real question marks should be over Zeller's head :confused:

What in the hell did your sixers do tonight? Hinkie blows. My Lord.

I agree 100% but is it realistic for Cho to trade him in his second year?

I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not a Sixers fan anymore. Who is Hinkie?

Vonleh, Zeller, and Dwight Powell. That's alot of PF's
the guy does have a nice shot tho and that pick and roll oop is unstoppable in pickup games it seems :o

Yeah, but I like that we have them because its hard to get good front court help and if we can resign McRoberts I think we have it. Now if we can just get either sessions or cole with the Nappier Harston deal we are in great shape and should be a top 4 team in the east AND we still have money to spend on a FA or TWO

Thomas Robinson got traded twice in his first 2 years. It's realistic. I know there's other examples I could use, but I can't think of them off the top of my head right now

@MKIA

You've got to have more loyalty than that.

You're on a board where just about all of us have had nothing but **** for over a decade, and we're all still here.

I don't know, I like Gordon but Blake is bigger, stronger, and more explosive, but I thnk Gordon is a little more polished skillwise. I know Gordon is explosive and his jumping numbers are close to Blake's, but Blake seems like the highest jumping big I've ever seen. I think Gordon is Blake 2.0, I think the fact that Orlando (who's traditonally pretty good on talent evaluation) chose Gordon over Vonleh is kinda puzzling but maybe something I'll look into.

Worse than we were before. Hendo is better than Hairston right now.

Yeah Gordon has so much potential. He can defend ANYONE, he is a leader, runs the court well, and has a great stroke on his jumper even tho he is not a good shooter.

I think Vonleh is a bit overrated. I stil think he will be so so for us but nothing too special.

The Sixers have no loyalty to me as a fan. I've been hanging by a thin thread for years, but right about now, enough is enough. That franchise is a albatross. The only good they've done in 20 years was draft Allen Iverson and hire Larry Brown. Everything else has been a grade C or lower

Lol oh hush up. Your franchise has actually won titles and had elite players. Stop being a pansy and support your team for Christ sake. Don't act like one of those Heat fans :banghead:
