Denmon is never coming over, and even when he was drafted Buford's whole tone was sceptical of him ever making it. He basically said "we'll see". I'm not even sure Kyle will play the 1, but I guess Pop will work it out. Daye is gone.

He's going to play for us in the summer league and if he impresses he'll get a training camp invite.

Re: 2014 NBA draft thread
So guys thoughts on the draft overall? Who are your winners and losers?
For me the obvious winner in Philly. They got two of the most talented players in the draft in Embiid and Saric and the way they got Saric was simply brilliant.
I also really liked what Denver and Charlotte did as well.
As for losers I can't say I like what the Raptors did.

I agree with draft express opinion: It's a pointless exercise at this point

People do not understand Curry's reason for wanting to be a ballerina. He wanted to be able to contort his body to be able to fit in the fridge.

Haha ya I kinda agree with you. But sometimes it's obvious right away.

eheh, well will see, I've seen so many things in drafts that is really difficult to say.. Still many times you can kind of grasp what a player is gonna be from his first year (not all of it, but you can kind of feel if somebody has got that something special). Bout 76ers is really about luck with Embid's health. He is an amazing player but who knows.. and Saric well, when is he going ? Also Raptors, what if this brazilian with 7-7 wingspan is a surprise like the greek freak? Draft is fantastic. btw, on paper, I'm incredibly optimist with this Anderson. I also listened to couple of interviews, he sounds like a brilliant guy, with sense of humour, key quality to work with Pop

2014 NBA draft thread
At this point I like Utahs draft as well.
I liked Rodney Hood in college and thought his impact was always overshadowed by Jabari Parker.
He should thrive in a system with essentially 2 PGs in Exum and Burke and isn't asked to handle the ball a lot.
New York had a good draft all things considered. I thought they did very well with the picks they ended up with.

I agree on Utah. They seem to be putting together a pretty nice roster. If Exum pans out they will be pretty exciting.
