I don't put much stock in anything Simmons says. One of my least favorite "analysts."

You're wrong imo. People dismiss him because he is a white guy who has never played but he is a legit basketball nerd who is seriously smart, although he can be a bit of a sensationalist at times.

Simmons is alright...bit stupid at times but he's there to entertain too.

I love Simmons. He's living every basketball junkie's dream, he's not a former player, and yet he's up there running the draft coverage, doing the NBA pre-game show, etc.

He's better as a writer than a TV personality, but he's generally likable.

Nah, he's a bum, not real reason to look at him. He went undrafted for a good rason.

Do you mean Cleanthony Early? Plenty of reasons we didn't trade but-
Possible: they weren't accepting offers for a trade down, we had not interest in trading up
For sure: he isn't actually all that good of a prospect

It's the 38th pick. Did people actually expect us to draft someone and have him become a big part of the rotation this season? I don't care which pick in the second round, but none of them are going to be impactful on a borderline playoff team their rookie season. Heck any second round pick will be lucky to be impactful on a team ever. Sure there is always one or two players that surprises, but if anyone is banking on that, then they're living in a pipedream. How many games did Peyton Siva or Tony Mitchell play a significant role in? Based on how some of you are talking up the 38th pick, Tony Mitchell (37th pick) should be a regular role player this year....but somehow everyone knows that's not going to happen.

Wake up people. Bank on this pick being worthless. If it turns out to be anything more, we can be pleasantly surprised.
