Can anyone think of a trade package that we could put together than would tempt the Kings to send us Stauskas?

Maybe we take back Landry and send them Henderson, Zeller, and some 2nds?

Would they be interested in that?

They're more likely to trade that bum Mclemore than Stauskas at this point. That's why they drafted Stauskas, to try to erase the horror they seen from Mclemore last year as a rookie. Lol

 at Shaq ripping his suit to shreds when the guys suggest he borrow it.

I gotta a major man crush on this kid, so I hope his career doesn't get derailed in Sactown.

Btw since realgm was busted last night during our pick. Who here was in utter shock when the Kings picked Stauskas? I was cussing up a storm figuring someone had jumped us to nab him in a trade. I at least wanted the choice to draft him.

I was a little bit shocked. I was figuring that he would be more likely to fall (to around 10 - 13) than jump up out of our reach. I think it hurt a little less to see him go before our pick, rather than him be available and we still not draft him.

I hope word gets out what our draft board looked like. I'm wondering which of the guys we had spent most of the time talking about, which of them we would have picked had Vonleh not fallen.

Totally, that's one of the tiny disappointments from the draft is not having that question answered. I'd love to know who we actually valued between Dougie fresh, Stauskas, Harris, Young and LeVine.

Hopefully we won't regret not finding out the answer.

I was more nervous when the Celtics picked. After 6 passed I was sure Nik would be available. At 8 I was like "1 more to go!".

I was hoping to read on Adam Silver's lips a different name - Payton or Vonleh but he unmistakably said Stauskas. The Draft Party at the arena was very vocal about being devastated. People were peed off.

Anyone in attendance would attest to the fact that had Stauskas been available and Charlotte passed, fans would have rioted. He was overwhelming consensus pick and every fan I talked to there said Stauskas was a baller who fits our needs. I can't fathom us passing. The silver lining I take away is that I believe Lance was somewhat of a target all along and if they moved in Lance's direction, Stauskas would've been buried on the bench for 3-4 years. Without Stauskas, I think your front office has to come together to make a strong push for Lance and there should theoretically be no division over him at this point. Another bonus is that you don't have to cave to McRoberts' camp like you did with Henderson and you can allocate that money to another big free agent in addition to Lance. I want Chandler Parsons as well but would be OK with Gordon Hayward as the 2nd free agent with Lance.

I hate it that Stauskas ended up in Sacramento. Hopefully their new ownership turns things around or he gets traded to the Celtics in a package for Rondo. That said I am VERY happy we ended up with Vonleh, we killed it this year in the draft. Was it a coincidence that it happened as soon as Higgins is gone? I doubt it.
