Sorry, but this is just a ridiculous statement. Do you really think Bairstow could average 15 ppg right now?

Being foreign makes it okay. Only white guys from the U.S. are destined to be busts.

So you are saying that Kevin Love and Larry Bird are busts?

A second round pick is a gamble. I have no problem with this particular gamble. I hope we get lucky. With little expectations I trust the FO on this late pick.

He looks very good in all the available footage of him, statistically, and in scouting reports. The Lobos aren't a scrub team, so I'm surprised that he didn't go higher. Seems like he has some Scola/Olynyk in him.

He seems like a good pairing with Greg Smith off the bench. Hopefully these two are going to be the offensive version of Taj and Asik coming off of the bench for us.

Can we start thinking of a nickname for this guy right now? I can't be calling him Bairstow

how about Killa Cam? I propose that one

thats a good one especially if he doesn't cut his hair

doesnt really play like a He-Man though....takes a lot of mid range jumpers I don't think He-Man would bother with that

Im sorta sad he doesnt have a scoting video on DX. His highlights make him look like an old school center type. Can score in the post.

Bairstow is definitely the type of player the Bulls love to draft.
Really interesting to see if he can log some minutes for us this year.

If we keep 14 or 15 dudes he'll probably get a roster spot.

I think I saw three of his games last year and he definitely impressed - guys just bounce off of him trying to body him up. He's kind of an awkward athlete but he's got some pretty good quickness for his size, too - he'll surprise you with his first step. My main gripe with him would be that he doesn't seem to have great stamina, he wore down pretty noticeably in the second half of the games that I watched. But I think he's a great late round pickup and a guy that should make the team and could even challenge for some rotation minutes.
