I see a lot of where you're coming from. I think we got two really good prospects, but I think people are underrating how much we are going to struggle to score. We need a guy we can go to with the clock winding down and who can score and we don't have that. Dipo may be able to develop into that, but I think he needs a partner in crime. We'll see. I do think we've got great collection of young talent though.

They just don't believe yet because they were blinded by the tanking tactics. Dipo and Harris are our go to guys.

Yup.... I'm with you on that one. and vucevic. But in the end.... this will be a much more well balanced team. There are no egos on this roster....no one that feels entitled to anything... just winning mentality. "All for one and one for all". Transition basketball is going to be a nightmare for opposing teams teams.... and the half court will be constant motion and distributing of the ball.... no one player could be singled out the offense.

Obviously this is just what i see from the collection of players we are putting together.... high iq and multi talented players on one floor make for an exciting time.

p.s. Not gonna sleep on our bench either....nelson, fournier, harkless, oquinn and dedmon/maxiell is a pretty darn good balance.

p.p.s. i'm totally in the boat to keep nelson... i feel as though he will be a great keeper if he takes the mentoring and second unit leader role.

p.p.p.s. Since pick and roll is one of the main weapons in the nba....yeah.... that's gonna be hard to do on this team with the length and speed @ the 1-2 and 4 position....and even vucevic was surprisingly better than we thought this pass season.

Just wanted to stop in and say congrats on an awesome draft guys. I love how you guys got two good pieces and seem to have rounded out your starting 5. Looking forward to seeing them develop.

Not gonna lie....when they were announcing the guys before the draft at the draft party the fans erupted when they heard Dante Exum.....which made me LOL considering none of those fools have even seen him play besides 1-2 streams of the same clips....

Pretty sure everyone read that he was supposed to go 4th to us, and was the next penny hardaway.

you guys notice most of the overreaction and crazy angry posts are from people i have never seen before and i have never seen post in the game threads during the season? Lol interesting
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Welcome to the board. I understand how u feel as I wanted Exum as well but u can't be mad at what we did last night. We filled our starting line up and we have a identity now. Sure, we're not gonna be shooting people out of the gym but we might just lock their azz up n get out on the break.

We've got a guy down low in vuc who is ready to handle the scoring load n your gonna see a lot more of him in the block this year which is a GOOD THING. Tobias will finally have free reign to score the ball n i believe he will deliver. Victor will take a step next year as well and I didn't even mention Payton yet who after team usa practices coaches were saying they didn't know which one of these guys (Payton or smart) is gonna be the better pro. I watched alot of Arizona basketball last year because I live about 15 minutes from the UofA. Gordon is a guy who will win you over once u watch him. The kid is relentless HE NEVER TAKES A PLAY OFF and he's THE YOUNGEST PLAYER IN THIS DRAFT.

Just watch the games next year and i have a feeling you won't feel the same way ur feeling right now.

The main thing here is the Magic obtained two legit starting level players whereas outside Marcus Smart, I really don't think any other player at that position had a lower floor. Basically, Henny chose the safest pick which aligns with the teams Heart and Hustle philosophy with great Chemistry guys. Win-Win.

The Magic need to add a shooter or two this offseason then sit back and watch the real magic happen.

We need some cheap shooters in the worst way. I think we should target Channing Frye and Mario Chalmers (if we let Jameer go). I think they fit the culture and are solid vets with a winning pedigree.

You know which Magic fans are posting salty comments? Those who wanted Exum because they're so delusional they think he's going to be the next "star", based on nothing but YouTube videos playing against pussy ass white Australian kids.

Great scouting job bruh.

Lol one day after the draft you guys already know Exum is a busy and Gordon will be a star?

Is that what he's going to give up on defense every night?

Have you even seen Exum play? I have no idea where the hype is coming from. I was hyped too for the kid, until I saw a few highlight reels of him. Where the excitement is coming from is beyond me. He looked slow, unorthodox, his shot needs massive work, no defense and he was playing against no bodies. Reminds me of the hype people had for Darko.

#RealTalk.....

Pretending like they know more than scouts and GMs do. Exum will probably end up being a starter and nothing more. Then we can all look back and laugh at, everyone who thought hed be an elite player.

...or they'll look back and laugh at us....

No one is pretending anything, we just know GMs and scouts are wrong pretty often too. Let's stop jumping on people just because we question the great Hennigan's decisions. You guys have Hennigan's banana so deep in your mouth that you overlook that he made mistakes too. He's 2/4 on his draft picks, so let's stop acting he's a genius at drafting. Like I said in the other posts, I hope Hennigan is right about these picks. I'm not salty at all, I just don't see Gordon as anything other than an average player and I hope I'm wrong.
