Im thinking theres probably still something in the works for either Smart or Rondo. Wouldnt make sense for celtics to have 3 pgs that don't shoot

It also doesn't make sense for you guys to have both Stauskas and Mclemore, does it? Aren't they both SG? I actually think McLemore has a really bright future for you guys... how does this impact him heading forward?

At least they can shoot though is the thing. As long as you can shoot you can play off of players. Teams that can't shoot, well, Kings fans know it well.

It's either going to destroy McLemore, or he'll be great as the main PG defender on the Kings. And that will either destroy the Kings or make them a playoff contender. How about that for variables!

Exactly... I feel like each made moves in prep of a future transaction. I dunno, comments from the FO suggest otherwise, but prob just trying to keep fans/players neutral for now. Id imagine one of mclemore/stauskas goin ur way for one of rondo/smart with other parts from each team involved

Has Sacto's front office addressed this at all? What are they publicly saying in regards to McLemore/Stauskas? Have they made comments about them potentially playing together?

I had McLemore as the 2nd best player in the 2013 draft... I thought he struggled last year, but it's waaaay too soon to give up on that kid. He was an elite shooter in college and seems to have elite athleticism. I'd bet on him turning into something before I bet on him busting.

What kind of trade do Kings fans imagine would go down, though? I'm getting the sense from the Boston side that Smart is going nowhere.

Beyond boston, do Kings fans get the sense that McLemore has another potential trade destination?

Stauskas is going to play some 1 and Ben will guard opposing PG's. They are going to be "strong" with Thomas in free agency, whatever that means but if he's back somebody is getting chopped from existence out of that SG rotation, there's not a way they couldn't.

Kings GM after the draft made a generic statement saying they have "planted seeds" for future deals.

Is IT the thing that is holding up a deal here?

If they were trying to use Ben to move up then I think that sends a clear message of who they value more between Ben and Nik.
