It was a smart GM move. Small stuff like that adds up over time.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

They are going to have more than enough players to make decisions on as it currently is. I think Taylor is seriously on the cutting room floor if he don't show something this offseason into training camp. Savvy move by Cho to cut cost with Haywood to open up that extra roster spot though

That one I understand because they at least got rid of Haywood. It's giving the ones away for cash that seem to happen a lot. Either way your right. Taylor hasn't really shown much except in summer league and now he's got a busted foot. He should really have a tough time making the roster if we pick up some players in FA.

I'd much rather see CDR back than Taylor, but I'm sure I'm probably in the minority on that. Taylor get a lot of leniency for a 2nd rounder that's been mostly disappointing, but I guess he's likable enough on a cheap contract to justify

@DylanBuckingham 2m
Presti can't comment on a "small acquisition" until it's finalized. Assume it's in regard to Semaj Christon.

Yeah he's cheap, but I'm with you. I want CDR back, even if it's as a 14-15 guy. He proved himself over both Taylor and Hendo. Even got compliments from James in the playoffs for how he guarded him even though he was obviously out matched.

I know Gee makes $3M. Don't know what the date is to cut him before it guarantees.

Rich Cho is doing what does best... Working the numbers. Moving back two spots and still getting the player we wanted, while getting cash, a 2nd (which turn into cash also). Trading the #45 for $2M in salary dump in Haywood and creating roster space.

He's giving us a lot of flexility and saving MJ a lot of money. Those moves add up to probably $4/5M and beyond.

Taylor's been working out more in the Charlotte facility than anyone... more than Biz, more than MKG, more than anyone.
