Hawks 2014 Summer League Team is STACKED

Hawks draftees Adreian Payne and Lamar Patterson each said they intend to play in the Las Vegas Summer League next month...All three of last year’s draftees are expected to be a part of the tournament. Mike Muscala confirmed that he will play again this year. Dennis Schroder and Nogueira are also expected to be there. Third-year guard John Jenkins, recovering from back surgery, has said he will play.

Payne, Jenkins, and Schroeder should destroy all opposition.

I just DON'T want Patterson, Bebe and Muscala to fall flat on their faces.

The status of Walter Tavares is not yet known as there are contract issues still to be resolved. The issues are similar to those of first-round pick Lucas Nogueira last year,who was cleared to play just prior to the Hawks first game.

I agree jamaal. I havent been this excited about the summer league in a long time. Im ready to see the schroeder to bebe lobs again and see how jenkins stroke is looking. Also excited about seeing the new draftees.

I suspect Edy Tavares will be a last minute addition to the team once he gets clearance from FIBA. Similar to last summer with Bebe.
