I wish you guys had taken Valanciunas in 2011 and still won the lottery this year and last. Imagine a core of Irving, Wiggins, and Jonas. That's a guaranteed dynasty right there. He might not have the defensive instincts or athleticism of Drummond, but he's got much more potential on the offensive end (Buford offered Parker for him on draft day, so this isn't just the homer in me talking). He was also taken right under your noses. Drummond was passed on by four other eams after you guys picked, which should alleviate some of the sting. Both guys would look better than TT or Waiters on this team right now.

Jonas on Spurs would be completely different level than Jonas we see in Toronto, even though Spurs probably just wanted to pick Kawhi 5th.

1) Lazy.
2) Lacked fire.
3) Low basketball IQ.
4) Poor fundamentals.

Those are very legitimate reasons to take a pass. Then again, you can't teach size or athleticism.

i think he also fell in love with drafting a sg when everyone fell in love with Beal, but Waiters ended up being terrific also, so it's not the worst pick ever.

Better than TRob or Harrison which everyone wanted us to pick.
