We also added another player on trail that scored a goal, Jaineil Hoilett.

Is he related to Junior Hoilett?

Brother, yes.

Great game.

The fight between Defoe and Gilberto was a bit concerning though, plus the late goal.

Julio Cesar is the king of Brazil, no way he returns to Toronto now.

Though I hope his performance today gives people more of a reason to watch MLS. We clearly have some world class players all around the league.

A league that is clearly on the rise.

Great news for TFC and BMO's grass.

Though this could just be the starting point for negotiations.

Just wanted to chime in and share that I like these updates on the main Raptors board that then re-direct to the applicable forums.

If TFC makes a crazy signing I would like to know about it. If the Jays add a quality pitcher via trade I would like to know about it as it's happening. If there's a crazy UFC fight I had forgot about I do appreciate the reminder. If there's a crazy off topic Canada story that's big news I would like to know about it.

These re-direct updates are great. They fade down the main page just fine in due time and because they're re-directs they can't be bounced back up and clutter the Raptors main board. It's been a great addition to off topic stories and events. I just wanted to share that.

Thanks,
DH

He's going back to QPR as they got promoted back to the Premier league.

I didn't watch the game, but saw the highlights, afterwords Defoe seemed quite amused with the whole thing. Plus Gilberto went to Defoe and hugged (and kissed I think) him... So do you think there is an issue? I know it seems that Defoe was getting frustrated at times with him, but Defoe like a veteran character guy, so I don't think it's an issue?

Julio Cesar probably going to get a full time gig in europe now...He deserves to be there though, not in TFC.

Nothing against TFC though, he is a starting keeper in Europe

Oh, I agree. TFC was lucky to have him, even just for a couple of games.

Good ball movement so far. My one consistent complaint with TFC's tactics is that they always have the keeper or defenders punt the ball and give up possession. They never work it up the field cleanly.

I agree, they do that way too often.

I would much prefer if they worked from the back. More possession is a good thing.
