So many emotions. Drew/Hammond could be fired!!!!! Do I really want Kidd running the show???

To his credit he coached the **** out of the Nets in the second half of the season. PP at PF was a great move a lot of good coaches wouldn't have had the balls/imagination to do.

This is actually **** hilarious. I'm just going to laugh heartily until anything happens. And, remember, they just asked to speak with him. Who knows what this actually means? I mean, right?!?! Right?!?!

EDIT: I should add - I really don't think this has a single thing to do with Kidd becoming the head of basketball operations. That is specific to the Nets. I think this has to do w/ targeting Kidd as a head coach. This might also mean we have our Head of Basketball Operations in place and he's working in concert. They had already interviewed 5 or 6 candidates, correct?

If this is Kidd realizing it's no fun to work under Billy King's player personnel decisions, and he wants to coach here, that's ok. That doesn't seem like the thing that makes the most sense, though.

I'm not going to pretend to be outraged or elated about this. A coach if a coach. I'm not in the locker room with Kidd, I don't know what his coaching style is, nor do I know if he's right for the job or not. Nor does it really matter what I think, cus it's all on our ownership.

Front office didn't know about this, so at least they'll be gone. That's a positive.

The Dolphins and Raiders are sure doing great aren't they? We all love John Hammond around here.

I agree. They had a remarkable turnaround. He ended up getting a lot out of that roster.

Is there anyway that Hammond and Drew stay now? The owners have basically let the cat out of the bag that they are looking for new people.

Just saw this on Twitter. Not gonna lie, I love how our owners aren't afraid of poaching and how they are seemingly effective. Not sure I like the move though.

Aaron It Out wrote:He turned it around big time after a god awful start. They beat a pretty good Toronto team in the playoffs. It's not like he exactly had a great team to work with. We just remember the dumb stuff we saw on ESPN. I'd be curious to see what he can do with a young up and coming team rather than a team full of corpses.

I'll see myself out now. I'll let you guys get back to your constant whining.

Sure, he turned things around as a coach last season, but I think it's fair to be a bit leery if he's looking for full control of basketball operations.

Someone pull Charles Gardner away from the World Cup for a second so he can make the call to Steinmiller and learn what is going on for us.

As for him being GM-Coach, hell no. I am totally against that in all circumstances.

Interesting....

At least our owners go big. Kidd is a big name and would sell tickets I would presume.

I just don't see him as a good HC and have no reason what so ever to give him a present role. With that said, if our owners actually did this, I would give them the benefit the doubt.

The one thing that I do know is that Drew is not the HC I want coaching the Bucks.

I don't see this actually happening.

We should be able to get him at a discount because of the lenient DUI laws.
