I'm all in.

The Bucks need their new Don Nelson. If it works out, he could be here for the next 20 years.

This would bring a ton of credibility to the team, especially to all the young guys.

I don't care that he isn't an MIT dork. We can hire those people and he can consider their opinion. Kidd knows the game.

Not sure that Kidd can make worse FO decisions than Hammond. He might not draft as good, but his trades and free agency decisions have to be better.

Hell Kidd might even know the difference between a restricted free agent and an unrestricted free agent. That's more than I can say for Hammond.

Howard Beck ‏@HowardBeck 4m
Source: Kidd isn't pursuing Bucks coaching job. He wants to be president of basketball ops.

Nets grant Bucks permission to talk with Jason Kidd

Post#127 » by JimmyTheKid » Sun Jun 29, 2014 2:28 am

Love the fact that the front office had no idea that Lasry/Edens asked to meet with Kidd.

Couldn't stand listening to Hammond's interviews the last couple days about "rebuilding the right way" after watching the Bucks go for "it" (8th seed) the past 5 years.

I'm also not going to pretend that I watched 82 Brooklyn Nets games last year and comment on Kidd's coaching ability, but he played the game of basketball the way it was meant to be played.

Exciting times!

I'm sure you're very pretty. But I don't know what that has to do with this.

This may be a dumb question but who is the bucks president right now?

No one will confirm this but I was told Kidd has been offered job as Bucks president.

Kidd did a good job last year overall. His love affair with Alan Anderson last year is concerning though. That guy's a poor man's Gary Neal (yes, that bad).

so you think Dan Gilbert is a good owner then? Because this is exactly what he just did with John Calipari. and last time I checked, Dan Gilbert is considered one of the worst owners in the NBA.

And I'm guessing nothing from Buckpack because he's connected to Hammond and Hammond had no idea.

Why are you guys still talking about him as our coach? He isn't talking about coming here to be the coach at all.

My first thought when I heard possibly GM was hopefully that doesn't spell the end of BuckPack's inside info!!

Don't understand this at all. I was fine with him coaching, no idea how a former player with one year as a coach is qualified to be POBO.
