Does that mean all these reports have been false? Kidd to stick with Nets?

I would believe the stuff from guys like Woj on Twitter over some headline in the Sportscenter ticker.

It's interesting, L&E spoke as if they'd already hired a PBO circa last week
The Bulls are the absolute worst.

Uhh, based on what? Just because Kidd was a good player? He has one **** year of head coaching experience, zero basketball ops experience, and he is a piece of trash as a human being. Yay.

The fact that they're all buddies just makes it seem even worse.

Color me pessimistic. There is literally nothing to suggest Kidd would be good in the role of team president.

Hey, I've got some kool-aide for you. Don't worry, it's not laced with anything harmful! Blindless subservience never hurt anyone, that's for sure.

How do you know Hammond and Drew are staying? Just a few days ago everyone was saying how they wouldn't be surprised if they did stay for another year. Stop the damn hating omg...

Can someone smart give me a worst case scenario followed by a best case scenario?

On a sidenote: What kind of experience do you guys look for for a guy to have say in personnel for the first time in their career? A guy has to start somewhere.

Sure, Kidd has his vices off the court, but he's also one of the most intelligent guys to play the game, and he was one of the keys to making Dallas into a championship team and then making New York into a functioning team. He knows how to run a team on the court, and has an idea of how he believes a team should be built. Just as much as he could end up sucking in the role, he could also end up being great at it. It isn't really fair to only focus on the potential downside.

Hell, we've been praying to hire new coaches that are fresh and aren't retreads, praying for us to take chances with personnel guys in the hopes that we strike gold. Why doesn't that same logic apply here?

The thing is... Kidd is a snake, that can be both good and bad, but I don't know if you can ever trust a guy like that.

Could come and bite you in the future.

He deserves to be unemployed, honestly.

The only thing that could get me on board with this would be a Kidd announcement that his first order of business would be to replace Jim Paschke.
