Windhorst just said he thinks Kidd is done with the Nets. This is getting real.

Easy decision as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't compensate the Nets with any 1st round picks though. He can keep Hammond on as director of scouting if he wants...

Let me guess, you are also OK with us trading picks for Kidd too.

Wasn't aware those were the only two options. I'd take 90% of the posters on this board over Hammond.

If this includes a pick the owners have already blown it.

There better be no picks going out. It's already bad enough.

I'm sorry max. I would rather loose a finger than an arm, it doesn't mean that losing a finger is good if there are other options.

Even if Kidd is better than them its not him vs them, its kidd vs all the possible gm, coaches POBOs out there.

Dont even give them a 2nd round pick, Milwaukee pick could easily end up being in the 30-35 range, and that's almost a 1st.

It's just stupid to even talk about it.

Give them Ilyasova or Mayo for an expiring if they want that.

No, I edited my post, I wouldn't give them any 1st round picks.

Edit, you quoted the edited post.

Sorry I can't see any embedded tweets. Who is reporting the 1st round pick stuff?

I don't understand why the **** you're talking compensation instead of waiting for them to fire Kidd anyway.

When's the last time we've heard this much buzz around the Bucks?! It's kind of awesome :D

So kidd has a lackluster first year coaching a year after retirement and now he's going to guide a franchise? Wtf

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

Also, what leverage do the Nets have for such a deal? If they don't want Kidd around they have to let him walk surely.

Surely, it's financial. Right?!? I mean, maybe we give them back their 2nd. But, I can't fathom for a second we'd give them a 1st. It would make zero sense whatsoever. We've been harping 'Build through the draft." "Do it the right way." And, then: Here Brooklyn...a 2016 lottery 1st for an 1st yr HC with no FO experience. No way. None.

And we shouldn't be trying to find reasons to hate Kidd, you guys should be finding reasons to love him vs all other options out there.
