The Bucks have been riding high for quite some time now and it would be so Bucks to bring Kidd in :nonono:

The mob mentality here is funny. Let's calm our titties till we see what is really going on. Even if Kidd takes on POBO it's unfathomable to believe his first order of business is not to fire Hambone and Drew.

I'm not even up in arms because I expected the new owners like any new management to put the people they want in place it wasnt if just a matter of when. Its just from an NBA fan perspective I don't think that Kidd was that good of a coach. I always thought the talent of the Nets in the lowly East was going to figure things out even after that mediocre start. Also if Kidd comes here you know he'll think he's the biggest thing in town(even moreso than in BKN) because its Milwaukee. I also get annoyed like many NBA coaches and assistants do that these players with no experience on the bench whatsoever just get handed head coaching jobs. At least Tyronn Lue, Cassell and others are actually putting some time in first.

Would kill all of the good publicity they've received so far.

I choose to believe that BuckPack is one of the Animorphs and he transforms into a fly or something to sneak into the Bucks front office and pick up all of his insider info.

I realize only like 6 people will understand what the hell I'm talking about.

Also, we don't have a lot of evidence on whether the new owners are "smart" yet, in terms of basketball. They really haven't made any huge decisions. So lets stop with the "I trust them them just because they are the new owners and not Kohl" BS.

It's not moving way to fast, it's apparent that these discussions started before Thursday with Jkidd. Just hope L and E think everything through before they make the wrong choice!

As much as it would suck to lose BP I would make that sacrifice of not having some inside info. Who knows though, not even the commissioner knows who the buckpack is or his source.

BuckPack has said before that he wish Hammond would be fired. Doubt he's tied to Hammond.

If it involves any kind of compensation other than financial... it's moving way to fast.

Do not move anything for this guy, there are much better alternatives available.

I can't blame Kidd, I'd want that Bucks team with Jabari over the Nets any day, but I hope the Bucks are smart enough to steer clear.

This says it all really. A sci-fi movie is more reality based than what the Bucks are doing right now. The first big decision the new owners have to make and it might very well be one of the worst decision I've seen in pro sports.

You guys really need to read the entire article that Chuck linked ten pages back. I'll put these highlights below.

http://nypost.com/2014/06/28/brazen-pow ... -for-kidd/

Goodness, Kidd’s been doing this since his freshman year at Cal, when he led a mutiny that wound up costing Lou Campanelli his job with 10 games left in the season.

And never were his Machiavellian methods more on display then the evening of Dec. 5, 2007, when, unhappy with the Nets’ unwillingness to trade him or extend his contract, he conducted a one-man job action, calling in sick and missing a game against the Knicks at the Meadowlands when the only thing wrong with him was a sour attitude.

And then, in case anyone forgot, he chased a reluctant Lawrence Frank for weeks to be his top aide, demanded that the Nets make him the top-paid assistant in the league…then exiled him about 15 minutes into the season.

It’s the right thing to say, the righter thing to do. If the Nets still fancy themselves contenders with a rapidly shutting window, their chances improve exponentially if they’re coached by any of a dozen legit candidates, starting with Jeff Van Gundy and Lionel Hollins.

If Kidd wants to chase the bright lights of Milwaukee, he’s friends with new Bucks owner Marc Lasry. (Maybe Lasry never has heard the old one about “with friends like this…”)

Godspeed. Bundle up. Order a big pile of cheese curds and a pint of Schlitz. Look out for the door. Milwaukee? He’s all yours. Enjoy.
