kidd will get fired (power struggle in Nets front office)

I got inside sources in the Nets organization, and the word is Jason Kidd will get fired because he asked for a raise. Kidd also wanted the GM position, but the Russians told him no. Kidd will be the next coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, and possibly the GM too.

By far the greatest post/thread of all time. I got to participate in it!

Social media needs to give this guy some more love.....he broke the news first. Two days ago!

Damn Jason Kidd is the best coach killer the game has ever seen. As a college player, as a professional, soon to be an as executive. He is a basketball savant no doubt, but a terrible human being.

He's also technically an owner since he owns a small share of the Nets.

So...seeing as how a bunch of people all over the internet are being linked to this thread, I'm gonna post some quips and one-liners. I'll try to add more.

- So when does Broussard show up and tell us about how his sources are on this story when he's literally just reading this thread?
- A player, a coach, and a team president in the span of a little more than a year...watch your job, Adam Silver.
- Jason Kidd is taking going to be a head coach and taking over basketball operations in the a city known as "The Beer Capital Of The World". For everyone's safety, I advise everyone to stay indoors.
- Wow, so Joumana Kidd really was the sane one of that relationship. (Thinks) No, that was crazy.
- Does Kidd having a fan spill beer on the court get Kidd fined too? What if he cleans it up himself by drinking it off the floor?

Guy is getting referenced as the story breaker (and rightfully so) by rotoworld lol might be the best debut post in realgm history. Hats off to him.

Gary Woelfel, who covers the Bucks, said on Twitter that he's heard that the Bucks have already offered Jason Kidd the role of team president, although that has not been confirmed.
This story is developing at light speed and it's quite possible that Kidd already had a deal in place with the Bucks before he went to the Nets with his seemingly outrageous demands to control the organization.

In another interesting twist, someone posted this exact scenario playing out on a Nets message board at RealGM.com a couple days ago (including Kidd running the Bucks), and also said that the Nets will next pursue Mark Jackson as their next head coach (which SI's Chris Mannix is also reporting).

While this is purely speculation, two things seem to be quite clear. 1. Kidd will not be returning to the Nets, regardless of what happens with the Bucks. 2. Kidd's close relationship with the new co-owner of the Bucks is a big deal, and it appears that he could very well be on his way to at least the team presidency, and could also end up coaching the team, although reports of whether he would also coach the team are unclear. Stay tuned.

Kidd's gone, dude. Taking into account all reports (OP included), he's sprinted past the point of no return. KG, PP, Shaun, Blatche could all leave if they don't get a proper replacement, but weren't you one of the biggest doubters of this team this season especially with Deron still in a Nets jersey?

As for me, if the Nets get a 1st rounder, I really couldn't care less right now.

So me doubting the team prior to this doesn't warrant a new assessment of the situation? This is actually worse. The team had an identity and some shred of continuity and within a week's time it all went to ****.

This could have a negative impact on retaining crucial players in free agency. I know you;re excited that RealGM got put on the map with carl's random post that we all laughed at but as a Nets fan I'm not sure how this in any way warrants anything but a negative reaction.

Keep dreaming if you think that Billy King, a dude who gave up several first rounders for washed up players, will wrangle a first rounder from the Bucks.
