That's what I would hate. All the bandwagoners.

For those who want to win the right way. While I agree it would have been a better feeling to win with Nash, we ARE doing it the right way. Build a solid roster, accumulate assets and depth, sign a free agent or 2.

I want a championship in my lifetime. If this is the way to do it, so be it. As Cubs fans can attest, there's no guarantees in your lifetimes.

Not true. Wade and Bosh share the same agent but it is a different agent and agency that LeBron and Bledsoe share.

If those two came west, imagine how bad the East would become? Charlotte, Washington, or even Miami still could reach the finals (aside from Chicago or Indy)

If lebron came to the suns, we would have to welcome ex heat fans to our board. :(
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

We survived Shaq fans and Penny fans. I'd be fine with the bandwagoners if we got the best player on the planet in his prime.

Hard to get good players when you have no money! The big 3 would have to take a MASSIVE paycut, and even then you still are limited to bad/old FA's to fill the roster. Once Bosh opts out on Monday, Miami has 2 people under contract, Cole and Shabazz. Thats alot of spots to try to fill!

While Bosh, Wade and Haslem could ultimately take less money with the early termination outs in their deals, James, the NBA's four-time MVP, is seeking a full maximum contract extension – or something close to it – to stay with Miami, sources told Yahoo Sports.

James is eligible to sign a five-year, $130 million extension with the Heat.

James' priority remains to find a way to make a future work with Miami, but a failure by the organization toward improving the Heat's roster to his satisfaction could send him aggressively into free agency, sources said.

I'm new, but I'd like to take this opportunity before anything actually happens to state that I was a Suns fan before Lebron (possibly) arrived, I'll be a Suns fan during his stay, and I'll continue to be a Suns fan long after he's gone.

Welcome to the board! :D

It will be interesting to see how many Lurkers come out due to this news so they wont get the bandwagon label.

KJ Ceballos was my favorite Sun. I wish we could go back to the Nylon Fittzimmons way of playing, like we did in the Purple Palace on McDowell!

That's actually pretty surprising. That he is getting everyone else to take less and still wants the absolute max. I still think they can add additional pieces though with Ray, Battier, etc, coming off the books and the others possibly taking paycuts. But if it is true, LeBron may start to piss those other guys off to some extent. It seemed like he was telling them he would take less to stay so they had to take less if he was going to stay.

Edit: My response was before reading the article and just saw this
Because of James' value as the best player in the NBA, the Heat players understand James' desire to seek maximum contract value, sources said.
so I guess they are ok with it (as they should be since LeBron is obviously FAR more valuable than those guys.

This Sean Highkin guy sounds like a buffoon. Zero chance of happening because of market? Who is he kidding. Lebron IS the market. The Suns are not and never have been a small market team. They just are not as big as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. When the hell was Miami ever considered a big market? I cannot remember them ever being that way. It is a party city in Florida. Before Riley traded for Shaq, their biggest star in the previous twenty years was Alonzo Mourning. The only reason the market in Miami is considered anything above mid market now is because Lebron has played there.

Cant blame him. He already took a huge paycut the 1st time around. Went on to win MVP a couple of times and finals MVP, while Wade has been injured and crap when playing. Bosh has also been a bit of a letdown. How do you not justify paying LeBron more than Wade and Bosh?
