Whatever you say buddy.

I don't think it's the determining factor (inexperience would be for me), but it sure as hell doesn't help.

I don't like woman beaters. Sue me.

I guess that stuff doesn't bother me. As long as your actions off the court aren't preventing you from playing games (aka doing your job) I tend to look past it. I think it's fun to laugh at Larry Sander's miscues but as soon as his dumb ass got suspended for them, it becomes an issue to me.

That's fair. I disagree but to each his own. I mostly objected to the "classy" part of it.

Personal agendas? Can you clarify your accusation?

Nope, I'm not getting drug into it. While there is great banter back and forth with informed stances there are also like bizarro said mud slinging and baiting that goes beyond good order discussion.

So you aplaud an affirmation saying that some people are slinging mud at each other and then make an acccusation like that an now you are implying that i'm trying to get you drug into it or trying to bait you?

Also would not read lack of an SOB commentary for the moment as being in tacit agreement with a Kidd hire. More a function of the fact the editor/creator of SOB is trying to do stuff with his kids on nicest weather day so far this summer.

The Editor/Creator will come around on this move once President Kidd get's rid of Hammond & Drew. :D

question now is, how long has lazry been planning this? or did Kidd really kind of seduce him at great speed and then go to nets mgmt knowing he had the bucks in the bag for him?

hard to take owners at their word for other things now, considering these developments

whats the bigger factor here?

I have no problem with him running things. Hammond has done a piss poor job outside of drafting. we dont know how much control he had under kohl but if he did do all the moves why should hammond stay? I would give kidd a chance, if he fails then we have a lot of lottery picks a head of us. the owners still have to sign off on moves.

Can't speak for aanyone else, but his inexperience is the bigger problem for me although I consider both things problems.

I'm just trying to think what personal agenda could be behind some opinions. I don't agree with a lot of people here, but i've never acused them of something like that. That kind of affirmations are gery woelful like if you don't back it up

What would be the personal gain? Someone from seattle that wanted the Bucks to move there? Somebody with a possible work in the bucks?

the question is not so much about kidd's past behavior and criminal charges, but how would you feel if/when such events occur again when he is representing (and running) the Bucks?

I wish it would wait to explode until Kidd makes a dumb move. But I guess that's not the nature of online forums. Pretty lame that all of these Bucks' fans aren't even giving him a chance.

That may be your question, but it isn't "the" question.

windhorst asked why bucks would want kidd: "this, I don't understand...it seems like mark lazry wants his friend...the situation in milwaukee will require a lot of skill..."

He is 100% correct, this move is baffling, you need to hire someone who has had success building a small market team into a winner or has been a key cog in the process. Lasry needs quit acting like a jock sniffer and more like an intelligent businessman. What worries me the most about all of this is that new ownership DIDN'T have a plan at all, flying by the seat of their pants and when this jag became available they were horribly reactionary. If this Kidd thing goes down all we have are richer versions of Herbie, and that is sad.

Does anyone really know what his role would be in MKE? If it is HC with final say on moves...I'd be ok with that. If it is Pres...not sure...depends who surrounds him.

I won't pursue the discussion further because although i'm not trying to make this a personal issue I realise it can be seen in that way.

But i'm not having a conversation "behind the scenes" about an insinuation that was made on the open and simply wasn't explained to me or others that don't know what, who and why you are reffering to. Sorry.

Why is it a crime all of a sudden to express our concerns that Kidd might not be qualified to do this position? We should let an unqualified person fail before we judge? What the hell? Why not hire me? Or you? Don't judge, let me fail first.

Here's the thing about these moral agendas when it comes to sports figures:

Atheletes and those in athletics routinely are involved with questionable activities outside of the actual game. I don't personally condone any of it (nor does anyone on this board, it appears), but I also don't look to sports for any semblance of a moral compass. Case and point: Brett Favre. The hallowed icon of GB was a complete and utter partier and adulterer. Routinely womanizing young women in bars in and around Wisconsin. This is known fact. He was also a drug addict. He texted a picture of his penis to a woman who worked in the Jets organization. And on and on. That being said, I would never trade those years of enjoyment he provided in the 90's. They were epic. Numerous execs and coaches in the game have DUI's...as do players. Ray Rice happened. Ray Lewis' incident happened. Kobe's incident happened. And on and on. It's just a different world where a different mentality and energy pervades these lives. And, I don't know it. And, I don't care to know it. On the other hand, I am greatly entertained by the games. All the hoopla in these individuals lives etc...I could just care less about.

Kidd could get in trouble w/ the law again and that would reflect poorly on the Bucks for obvious reasons. And, at the same time, he could lead them to the ECF. Who the hell knows. All I know is I've never and will never look to Jason Kidd as a barometer for how I live my life and how I value myself and others. It's just a complete non-factor. If Lasry and Edens want to hire Kidd, I'm assuming they have good reason to do so and I'm going to maintain an air of curiosity and interest as it all unfolds.

My two cents.
