Lose at home against the Sox 3 games to 4. Pathetic.

This offense went from world-beating to total crap in half a month. With this pitching staff we aren't making the playoffs unless the offense gets back to scoring 4-5 a game consistently.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Sergio is awful.. please DFA him.

Can't do it. He's the 4th best reliever in the pen right now.

The offense seemed to be turning the corner before the overload of LHP this weekend that lead to the Buffalo Bisons lineups. I wouldn't group this as similar to the slump two weeks ago, especially with Bautista and Lawrie out. Regardless, a loss is a loss.

The East is the only way this team makes the playoffs, as the Wild Cards will be overcrowded with similar or better teams. I can't imagine the Jays surviving that 10 game trip unless they revert back to May form.

Can anyone explain pitching to Abreu with a base open in the 3rd? I don't understand that one at all.

He gets out over 66% of the time.

P(Abreu hitting home run or base hit) > P(Viciedo hitting home run or base hit)

I didn't think it was worth it given outside of the one homer against McGowan, the Jays have handled Viciedo pretty good.

Viciedo destroys lefties in his career. Him getting a hit in that spot is just about as likely if not more so (only he'd be doing it with an extra runner on).

I'm sorry fellas. I thought I might have been the answer, but even I couldn't over come that line up we put out there this weekend. It looked good through 5 innings Friday.

Yeah terrible to lose the series. It is not getting any easier with the Brewers coming into town. This team has been dreadful since winning 20 out of 24 games. The exact opposite of May. Good thing is that we are still in First Place. However, i doubt that will be for much long with the way this team has been playing the last couple of weeks.

2 of those games were by 1 run. They were also missing one of the BEST HITTERS IN BASEBALL

It's amazing that so many of the people posting here seem to have been around for a few seasons and yet they still don't seem to realize that good baseball teams lose series all the time. It sucks, but it happens.

The Jays are a very flawed team, and therefore they will lose a TON of games. But they also have a lot of VERY good players, so they will also win a TON of games.

GET USED TO IT!!!! There's lots of games in baseball!!! Surprise!!!

Let's hope July brings better baseball. A month of this is enough. We need health.
