Re: Official Liverpool FC Thread
Well, so far we've got Rickie Lambert, Emre Can and Adam Lallana, with Pepe Reina, Fabio Borini, Sebastian Coates, Jesus Fernandez Suso, Tiago Ilori, Andre Wisdom and Jordon Ibe coming back from loan ... If we manage to pull off the deals for Alberto Moreno and Lazar Markovic, we will have one hell of a squad next season ...

I am not so sure about that ... And even if he does, JWH would not sell him for anything less than his $135 million release clause ... I would certainly prefer for Suarez to stay, but $135 is not a bad amount to have in a transfer market where most big clubs are struggling with the Financial Fair Play rules ...

Suarez for Sanchez+30M+incentives seems a lot more likely than the release clause being hit...and frankly a great deal for you guys. Sanchez and Sturridge won't be far off from Suarez-Sturridge and could fund another move or two.

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

Sanchez doesn't want Liverpool and if they sell him to Arsenal they have enough money to buy Suarez outright. That'd be worse than selling Suarez to Arsenal last year.
Selling Suarez without getting Sanchez back is suicide.

Not necessarily ... There are better options than Sanchez out there, if you have £80 million / €100 million / $135 million to spend ...

Luis is not a bad person ... He is just crazy when it comes to winning ... Part of the reason why we love him so much ... Hopefully, we will be seeing him in the red shirt of LFC for many years ...

Great players want to play with great players. If we sell Suarez we'll be even less desirable.

And for your style there aren't that many better options out there than Sanchez, he'd be brilliant in teh EPL playing off of Sturridge.

He'd be brilliant with Rodgers but he wants London. And Barca telling him to choose Liverpool after unceremoniously kicking him to the curb for Suarez will backfire lol

Re: Official Liverpool FC Thread
That seems to be the rumors at the moment but who ever really knows what's going on in players heads, maybe all he needs is a nice little raise to realize how much he loves liverpool and it's musical history...

Great players want to play with great players. If we sell Suarez we'll be even less desirable.
Unfortunately, football has turned into a money game a long time ago ... Offer the targeted players high wages, and they would love to come to LFC ... How do you think a small club like Man City have managed to attract top class talent like Aguero or Silva? Even without Suarez, we have a much bigger pulling power than the likes of Man City or Chelsea ... All we need to do is to offer high wages, and the players will come ...

Luis Suarez set to transfer to Barcelona
http://www.thescore.com/liga/news/532351
Liverpool are set to rid themselves of the talented, yet troubled Luis Suarez.
Sky Sports is reporting that talks between Barcelona and the Merseyside club have been productive with the Daily Mail noting a deal is expected to be completed within the next 48 hours.
While Suarez's goal scoring talent was unmatched last season - he led the EPL with 31 - it's his repetitive juvenile actions that make him a daunting task for clubs to have to deal with.
Liverpool are holding out for a reported £80 million transfer fee; Sky Sports cites that Barcelona are hoping they can bring him to Spain for £60 million.
With the addition Suarez, comes his four-month ban from all football-related activities due to his bite of Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup, but those stipulations do not prevent him from transferring to a new club.

I always thought there were no release clauses in English football.
