We tampered a couple times, then we didn't.

Oh to be a fly on the penny.

They're both bad GMs right? King gave Crash Wallace 4/40 on the first day of free agency

Kidd was going to be our new POBO and that was awful because he has no experience and isn't qualified, but now he is instead going to be our coach but still also be our POBO (but not officially have the title) and that is awful because no one will want to work for us in our front office and he still has no experience and isn't qualified.

The best part of the last 20 pages was Wooderson's joke:

They are in for a Rude awakening if they think they can just hold out on negotiations until we give them a 1st.

Eh, I don't get that at all.

Let's be honest. If they had given Kidd the kind of control he wanted, he would be in New Jersey. I think the Bucks are a better situation given the age of their roster and our future assets, but Milwaukee is a fallback option for Kidd.

Why make the assumption that Kidd wanted large amounts of control?

That's what he reportedly asked for in Brooklyn.

Great. Hammond is going to give them a 1st round pick and OJ Mayo, and then congratulate himself for unloading Mayo.

At least we would finally get Joe Johnson.

It was what was self-servingly leaked to the NY press.

It'll start with us Hammonds wanting to give up a 2nd and King wanting a 1st, King will agree to the second as long as we give them Mayo, Zaza and Michael Redd. Hammonds counters by adding our 1st to get Joe Johnson in the deal. It's a high stakes mind game between a couple of old masters.

That post makes up for the tie-breaker you cast in Ersan's favour

It all hinges on Pierce accepting a 5 year max extension with the Bucks as part of a sign and trade that locks him up through his prime years (37-42).

So he didn't ask for more control, it was just a raise? Okay, I guess I don't really care either way.

Pros:
Small-ball motion offense. Best comparison: current Atlanta Hawks offense philosophy.

He might throw the ball into Parker in the post and put shooters around him instead of the Carmelo comparison.

Defensively, he preaches switching and trapping. Best comparison: Memphis Grizzlies defense philosophy.

The Nets were 2nd in points off turnovers behind Miami and 4th in steals per game.

I would expect him to use a lineup of Wolters, Knight, Giannis, Parker, Sanders.

The Cons:

-He doesn't preach rebounding.
-His minutes distribution is troubling. His rotations can be puzzling at times.

-He is a believer in "vets" Jason Terry was his guilty pleasure and Terry was horrible. Kidd still kept using him until he was finally traded. He began to do the samething with Alan Anderson.

-Relys too much on iso hero ball when the game is on the line. I expect him to give alot of Isolation plays for Parker at end of game situations.
