If the Bucks are in big market I would agree with you. But they are not. Kidd would bring "NBA feel" to the town. Young guys dream of NBA life and then when they come to Milwaukee they say "ok, nice people, but where is NBA?". Now they will see Kidd and say "hay! It's NBA! I made it". Do you know what I mean? Kidd would bring NBA to Milwaukee. So to speak. New owners are not stupid and I think they realised they need to change image of Milwaukee and to make it more "NBA like" town. Kidd is one of top 10 NBA brands IMO.

Plus he is not bad coach really. With all injuries and mess they had last year they actually had good record considering everything. Also his attittude may not be great fit with veterans like Garnett and Pierce but should be good fit with kids like Gianis and Jabari. Both of them probably had his poster on the wall at some point in their life. :D

I guess that settles the belief that we were eating up the NETS pr spin. Crazy story, POBO at some point?

Woj is just murdering Kidd and the Bucks brass over this on Twitter, and I can't say I disagree with anything he's saying.

I am against Kidd being given a position in the organization, but somewhat disagree about the not interviewing because Drew is still here.

Drew just coached a team to 15 wins and New Ownership recently gained control. The odds of Drew remaining the coach in any scenario was likely 0.000000001%. Interviewing for a position when the other person is clearly about to be gone is hardly the ultimate betrayal of some code.

Why exactly was Larry Drew a bad coach? I feel like he had no impact, good or bad. He looked good in a suit, who cares, players seem to respect him

Jason Kidd has never ended things on good terms anywhere. He's egotistical, power driven, selfish and would be the worst coach to throw at Jabari, when starting out his career. Going from Coach K to Kidd is like going from a Brazilian Barbecue to frozen pop tarts.

Don't do it. You JUST got new ownership after so many miserable years. Don't find ways to make things difficult again.

It is Amazing to me that people think BKN is the more attractive job currently:

MIL: Minimal Pressure/High Job Security, Core of Parker + Giannis + likely 2015 High Lotto Pick + Higher Salary

BKN: High Pressure, No 1st Round pick for years almost, Overpaid/Old Core, Lower Salary, Billy King GM
--------------
*BKN is seen as more desirable location but FA's aren't exactly beating down the doors of NYK or BKN lately.

Regardless if Kidd ends up being a great FO exec and coach this is terrible. This is definitely not the way you want to run a business in terms of hiring and firing people. IMO this is just going to push great future candidates for coaching and FO positions away from us if this is how the owners are going to go about it.

If Kidd really did go loose cannon in Brooklyn of his own volition, it would be humorous is L&E withdrew their offer because of that and Kidd gets left with neither the Nets or Bucks job.

This team is just so f*cked. Couldn't leave good enough alone. **** Lasry. I don't want Kidd near our younger players. You think he will help Larry Sanders? ****.

You seriously think what the Bucks had was good enough?

Well im not a huge fan of what has transpired here with Kidd, but overreact much? Do I think he will help Larry Sanders? I don't know how in the world you or I would have an inkling of an idea as to how he would or wouldn't "help" Larry...

The way this Kidd thing is going down does not look good. If you don't want your current coach, fire him. You don't go behind his back and hire his replacement, then fire him. A monkey could have done a better job of coaching than Drew did last year, but you don't humiliate him like this. Things were trending up, then this happens. What were they thinking?

This thing with Kidd will not end well. I have no idea if Kidd will be a good coach in Milwaukee or not, but as with most Kidd situations this will probably not end well.
Trade S. Jackson soon. NJ seems like a nice place for him.

Whaaa?

There wasn't any "good enough" to leave alone. Larry Drew is awful. I don't like the way Kidd is being hired, but maybe we need some of this fire in brimstone mentality. Time to start showing the league we don't **** around anymore.
