I get the big knock that he's 25, but I didn't see him listed on anyone's list, and I didn't see him on any mock drafts. Can anyone more familiar fill me in on what I missed with him? I thought the kid looked like a tank

Really bad shooter, FT% in the 50s if I remember. I'll find more on him later.

Edit-
Can't go left.
Poor decision maker, not really trustworthy enough to be a PG.
Can't shoot, terrible at the line for a guard and at least questionable from beyond the ark.
Defensive effort isn't always there, thus only 1.3 steals per 40 pace adjusted, a poor mark.
Got a lot of transition buckets to inflate his 2P% and scoring numbers.

He's signed with the Lakers for their summer league squad I believe.

I like Jordan Bachynski. A seven footer, who is a good shot blocker, could be the guy to give 10 minutes to backup Drummond. He's a Lil raw but I just want a shot blocker and he could work cheap.

Pistons have added Tristan Spurlock from UCF to the Summer League Roster.

What the **** happened here, these names STAND OUT, like big time to me.. I can't believe nobody would burn a second rounder on any of them. Wish we could take them all and play them in summer league . We do have that big3 disaster in the front court, Harrellson, and Jerebko, but I'd love to add Patric Young's hustle and strength to our team, I believe if he'd came out as a freshman he'd been a first round pick... But he stayed too long at Florida. Kilpatrick scored more points at Cincy than Oscar Robertson (granted many more games played)... That team was defensive oriented and he was the only scoring threat like every night. Appling had a wrist injury and stuff all year, just didn't look right. Kane and Ejim both looked great to me at Iowa St, loved their style of play. Cj Fair, meh, he wasn't the best but that name sticks out since I watched quite a bit of Syracuse.

One of the 5 deepest drafts of all time. Fair, Kane and Appling were all 1st rders on some mocks early in the season.

I hope that Appling gets a shot in the D-League. His bad wrist really hurt his chances to get drafted. If he can go back to proving he can shoot 3's, get to the rim and score, he's a competent enough distributor and defender to get playing time in the NBA.

I'm not super impressed by a lot of the guys who went undrafted though, I thought that a number of them were overrated.

Javon McCrea is a guy we should pick up though.

He's 6'8" tall, but has a 7'3" wingspan and an 8'11" standing reach, so he has the size to play PF, his natural position.

He picked up 1.8 steals and 2.8 blocks per40 pace adjusted. Those numbers would place him 2nd among PFs in this draft class for steals and 2nd among PFs in blocks. Tied for 4th in offensive rebounding with 4.5 offensive rebounds per game.

Great finisher, 67% around the rim. Advanced post-up game, very efficient scoring there too. Can play above the rim.

4th best A/To among PFs in this draft class at .93. 59TS% is pretty good too. Considering that he was an extremely high usage player and a volume scorer, his TS% is extremely impressive. 22.3 point per 40 pace adjusted is 3rd in this draft class.

This guy is getting slept on hard. Mavs signed him. It's a shame that there isn't room for him here.

Jerelle Benimon got signed by the Heat to play in their summer league, because of course. OKC signed Fuquan Edwin. There are some of my favorite guys gone.

DeAndre Liggins: The reigning D-League Defensive Player of the Year filled the stat sheet with 14 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2.6 steals per game for the Sioux Falls Skyforce last season. He has averaged 35.4 percent from three in 61 career D-League games. The 26 year old wing has a history with Stan Van Gundy, previously playing for him in Orlando during the 2011-12 season. Don't be too surprised to see him in a Pistons jersey at some point next season.

Tristan Spurlock: An undrafted free agent, Spurlock is 23 years old and a big wing at 6'8, 230 pounds. He transferred from Virginia to Central Florida, and averaged 33 percent from three over his career. He was noted as an athletic and energetic player, but disappointing thanks to inconsistency and an inability to fulfill his potential.

Markel Starks: Of the team's undrafted free agents, Starks is probably the most likely to eventually find a role in the league. He's a skinny, athletic 6'2 point guard who put up 17 points and 4 assists last year at Georgetown. He also put up a strong showing at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in April, which regularly helps unearths solid under-the-radar NBA prospects.

Heath, 22, is 6-foot-10 and 240 pounds.

In two seasons with Canisius College, he averaged 9.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game while shooting 53.3% from the field and 39.7% from three-point range.

Heath and Spurlock measure out decently in the important stats:
Heath: 1.5 steals, 2.9 blocks, 2.4 offensive rebounds, 61TS%, 42.1% from 3, .88A/TO. Somehow also shot under 50% from the free throws line too despite being a good 3 point shooter on high volume.
Spurlock: 1.6 steals, 1.5 blocks, 2.5 offensive rebounds, 53TS%, 34.4% from 3, .86A/TO. Hes 6'8" despite being listed as a guard.

I'm disappointed that we could land McCrea (next undersized PF to become a good bench player like Carl Landry or Jason Maxille), Edwin (great wing defender), or Benimon (super-skilled stretch 4), but this isn't a poor pair of players to fill out the D-League roster with. I'm hoping that we add Kendall Williams as a PG, he's tall, can shoot 3's, draws fouls very well, and has a solid steal rate so might be a passable defender.
