Jameer would be a pretty good fit here.

I hate the idea of Nelson starting, but he'd be a fantastic backup for 3-4M a year. Sign me up.

Kemba could probably learn a thing or two from Nelson as well- namely shooting.

I have no idea what to think of Davis. He's shown flashes, but overall he's done nothing that makes me think he's anything more than an energy big off the bench.

...and that's all we'd need from him. Zeller hasn't shown to be anything more than a energy big off the bench too, albeit he's only had his lone rookie season, but Davis has shown to be pretty efficient, averaging a above average PER (15.0 is average) for his career at 15.9. If Davis could produce at that efficiency in limited minutes off the bench then he's more than serviceable

Is Luol Deng more 'free' than Hornets' other free-agent options?

If there’s a lesson in the successful recruitment of center Al Jefferson last summer, it might be this;

It’s seldom a top 50-type NBA player hits free agency and is truly “free” – and by free I mean the team he last played for isn’t intent on retaining him.

Only a idiot like Bonnell would advocate prioritizing Deng before the dust settles in free agency

Where'd you find this, Mr. KIA? I thought we only had around $19M in cap space.

Yeah, I just don't really see the need unless you aren't bringing back McRoberts. And I would definitely prefer McRoberts to Davis.

Yeah, I just don't really see the need unless you aren't brining back McRoberts. And I would definitely prefer McRoberts to Davis.

Exactly. We have to bring McRoberts back. I'm afraid to let him go for any player short of Taj Gibson. McRoberts was key to team chemistry and the style of play that we played. I want him back. I hope McRoberts and his agent don't try to ask for too much money. I'm sure anything above $4.5 million annually will make Cho turn his cheek

McRoberts is just a perfect fit for us. He spaces the floor and moves the ball really well. We really don't need an energy guy like Davis because he have that in Zeller and Vonleh (year 1 at least). McBob gives us a different style of play and just fits what we need better.

I know we will do our best to land what we need. My preference is Parsons 1st option and Stephenson option #2.

And passing. Nelson played for a talent depleted Magic team and still managed 7 apg in just 32 mpg.

I'd love him. A second string PG that has demonstrated to be an excellent passer? Sign me up.

It's not right. It does not include Vonleh and Hairston.

Blackoutbobcat has it right at 19.5. Subtract Neal and we're closer to 23 million.
It has been written...
